Noah's Arc: The Movie

This movie has awful pacing. It's so glamorous as to be unbelievable. Noah and his husband Wade have undeniable chemistry, but I can't with the fake babies for half the movie. The sexiness, the drag, the camp: flawless. Nostalgia? Yes, PLEASE. The representation? Of course she did! T. S. Madison is present, for which we are not worthy. I truly feel this is such a bad movie, it's good. It says, "Tropes? What size you want? I have them in every color!" And that's what this show is. You're welcome. This review probably made as much sense as the movie did, and you'll enjoy it all the same. My husband and I will now cement a tradition of watching this every year.

So let's take a moment to appreciate the nostalgia of seeing all the guys on screen again, as well as some of the new generation. This movie transported me back to my youth, reminiscing about late-night viewings of the recorded film, and falling in love with each character all over again. It provided the update we desperately needed. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie and hope it's not the last of it all . Beyoncé who else would be the perfect person to tell Uncle Johnny's story and potentially create a sequel. Great way to celebrate pride mouth great great production cast. Now give us what we need how does the babies grow up and chance remarry??

Alright, if you were a fan of the original "Noah's Arc" show, or maybe you're just kinda curious but a little on the fence about this movie, listen up! "Noah's Arc: The Movie" isn't just some throwback; it's a major glow-up that still keeps all that original magic.

Seriously, that vibe you loved from the series and the first movie? It's all here, but like, way leveled up. You're gonna see Noah, Alex, Ricky, and Chance, and it's gonna feel like catching up with old friends. But the coolest part? Seeing how much they've grown. Like, for real, their character development in this movie is just chef's kiss. They've all matured, and watching them navigate life now feels super real and satisfying.

This film is a total rollercoaster of emotions - in the best way possible! You'll be cracking up one minute, getting all thoughtful the next, and yeah, you might even shed a tear or two. It's just so well-written, blending humor, drama, and pure heart. It's gonna hit home for both the OG fans who grew up with it and anyone new just jumping into their world.

And honestly, this movie? It's just for us. It's a huge, affirming hug for Black and LGBTQIA+ folks who've always seen themselves in these characters. Yeah, the "Noah's Arc" journey might've had some bumpy parts, but this movie proves it's grown up, offering content and a message that are both polished and powerful.

So, if you're still debating, take it from me: "Noah's Arc: The Movie" isn't just something to watch; it's an experience you don't want to miss. It's mature, it's got heart, and it's a total win that absolutely deserves your attention.

This show was so pivotal at a time when representation of black gay men on TV was nonexistent. "Jumping the Broom" with Noah and Wade was a great culmination of the show. This movie missed the mark and I regretted paying for a subscription to watch it. The characters seemed so out of synch with their original characters, the story line was all over the place for all the characters. It felt rushed and poorly thought out. And what is the deal with Ricky's face? I am no movie genius but this was giving a terrible Tyler movie, minus the bad wigs. Such great potential literally lost. Should've left it at "Jumping the Broom" imo.

Let's deal with the fact that this series originated during a time when there was basically no black gay representation on tv. Suddenly what would never happen, happened. Four black men living in California were having their stories told and what some thought would never happen did. The way Patrik-Ian Polk manages to catch his audience up is always stellar.

He has taken us From Noah's Arc - the series, Noah's Arc: Jumping the Broom; The Rona Chronicles & now Noah's Arc - The Movie (2025). In this latest release, Patrik-Ian continues to deliver with ease and grace! We get the humor and seriousness we need! Great work! I am hopeful that the updated series comes back as well.
