Pokemon Omega Ruby is the Gen VI remake and was the first official Pokemon game I played. I played Pokemon Brick Bronze before it but it was a fan made game and Roblox and not an official game made by Gamefreak. I haven't played the original Pokemon Ruby but I have played Pokemon Emerald. I grew up with Gen VI as I got into Pokemon because of the Pokemon XY anime when I was younger, so obviously I'm more biased towards Gen VI content. This is what remakes should look like in Pokemon. The pokemon and style of the generation it released in plus the gimmick. Though it could have been better if it had the custombility of the player character that was introduced in Gen VI. Besides that, it was a pretty solid game. Though I may have written this review after the DS servers have shut down with the internet features no longer accessible, wanted to leave a review anyway.
