Single Papa is a rare gem that genuinely portrays modern fatherhood with authenticity and heart. The series beautifully captures the daily struggles, small victories, and unconditional love that define parenting. What struck me most was how realistically it shows the vulnerability men face when navigating parenthood alone-the self-doubt, societal judgments, and overwhelming responsibility. The performances are incredibly natural, making every emotional moment resonate deeply. It's refreshing to see a show that doesn't shy away from showing fathers as complete, emotional beings. This series made me laugh, cry, and reflect on my own parenting journey. An absolute 10/10-a must-watch for every parent.
Honestly funny and deeply heartfelt, Single Papa shines as a weekend or Christmas watch for everyone, with Kunal Kemmu as the absolute heart of the story-his wonderful sitcom flair and bang-on emotional transformation from overwhelmed dad to devoted single father make every scene sing.
Standout Cast Chemistry Manoj Pahwa and Ayesha Mishra deliver super special, perfect chemistry that grounds the humor in genuine warmth, stealing scenes with effortless rapport.
The side cast, including his quirky friend, adds relatable chaos without overpowering the core.
It's informative on adoption processes and motivations, inspiring viewers to give a family-less child a home-pure motivation wrapped in laughs.
Minor Hiccups Neha Dhupia feels slightly out of her element, not quite matching the ensemble's energy, while some gags repeat a touch too soon, causing a mid-season dip. These don't derail the fun, though.
A charming family entertainer elevated by Kemmu's charm and adoption insights-light, motivational, and binge-worthy for holidays. Not flawless, but way better than average.

When Netflix dropped the trailer of "Single Papa", I honestly wasn't impressed. Rather than presenting a Show, it looked like they were just announcing. I initially, wasn't interested.
I gave it a try and boy! I watched the entire series in 1 Go. This is Kunal Khemu's BESTEST WORK EVER!
Kudos to the writers Ishita Moitra and Neeraj Udhwani for the tight script. The screenplay is engaging and Kunal's one liners are quite hilarious, i.e. "Quick Gun Murugan".
This is a unique genre, - broadly, a drama, but with very high EQ. It has the right mix of emotions, comedy and drama.
Acting wise - Kunal aces the role of Gaurav Gehlot, a spoiled, entitled brat whose father (played by Manoj Pahwa) owns 2 wine shops in Gurugram. Manoj Pahwa is, as always a delight to watch. Prajakta, Ankur Rathi, Neha Dhupia, Isha Talwar, Daya and Ayesha Raza, Luke Kenny - everyone played their parts well. Isha, especially was under-used. Neha Dhupia as non-nonsense Mr. Romila Nehra was fabulous to watch. The baby Amul is too cute.
This is not your unique Rom-Com or Family drama, but it is about a baby who was abandoned in Kunal's car.
One thing I didn't get was, "Who is getting married in the month of September?" Put that thing aside and it is a fantastic series to watch.

During times when high testosterone content is appreciated, I want to take a moment and appreciate this show. You rarely find shows that you can watch in your living room with your parents, kids etc. So happy Single papa was made. It's humour timing is great and strikes the right balance with emotions- underlining a very poignant theme of how tough it is to be 'single papa'. Takes me back to the warm fuzzy movies like Hum hain rahi pyaar ke etc.
AND LOVE BABY AMUL. WORTH EVERY FRAME.

I would rate 10 only because the topic of single dad is taken up. I loved the concept but it should have been more serious, nonetheless kunal's comedy timing was good. Made it easier to accept the taboo of single dad in India. Other characters were okayish too. But the plot is kindly loose, less story and more chaos. The story should have been more in detailed which could have helped me to connect with other characters also. But I guess it's only centered to kunal because of title.
