What a low bar... The level of humour here - I am guessing they tried to be funny - is really on the level of a daytime tv ad. Appliances talking about their owners, never seen that before... Only a million times, and done better. No story at all to tell, which I guess could be forgiven, sacrificed on the altar of the style they were going for, but then make the humour pop, make it at least reach the level of what you did with the 3 robots in older seasons. And I am saying that while not being the biggest fan of them, either. Again, waste of an episode, just boring and not engaging in the slightest.
I guess the animation and the theme is cool but this is not worth an entire episode of LOVE DEATH ROBOTS
The celebrity voices by Kevin Hart, Niecy Nash and Ronny Chieng. Could have been put to much better use then kitchen appliances and "massagers"
The jokes were funny at times but overall mediocre
a lost opportunity to include them in proper roles, make a comedy without losing the tone of the show like S1 E2 Three Robots and Three Robots Exit Strategies and show a different side of these performer's capabilities
they could have used better animation rather then stop motion
definitely one of the most mediocre episodes to come out of the show.

I really hate the Scalzi episodes.
I hate how unfunny the Scalzi episodes are. This is new lows, though. It's basically just appliances complaining about humans.
I hate how boring the Scalzi episodes are. It's like if you took The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and stripped out all the jokes and humor. Look, a talking toilet that complains about its life.
I hate how stupid the Scalzi episodes are. They seem geared toward the same people that they skewer. I imagine the cat owners in The Other Large Thing think this episode is hilarious.
I hate how the Scalzi episodes are basically just filler. There's nothing there except a few limp jokes that just hang in the air.
I really hate the Scalzi episodes. And I hate the IMDb for making me come up with 600 words to describe why they are so stupid.

Is this really where sci-fi has landed?
This isn't clever, edgy, or provocative. It's just a pathetic excuse for humor, lazily disguised as commentary. The sexual "fantasies" about women here aren't just juvenile-they're insultingly vulgar and degrading, written as if the author believes objectification equals depth.
I genuinely loathe everything John Scalzi has ever written. His work always reeks of emotional emptiness-like someone who's never known genuine connection or respect, and instead copes by wrapping his shallow cynicism in cheap punchlines.
This episode is no exception. It's not funny. It's not sharp. It's a cringe-fest of frat-boy writing pretending to be futuristic insight.
To see this presented under the Love, Death & Robots brand-a series once praised for its imaginative risks and visual storytelling-is beyond disappointing. It's an embarrassment.
Sci-fi deserves better. Women deserve better. Audiences deserve better.

There are seldom things on this planet that are so unoriginal, so unfunny that I feel the need to express how horrific they are publicly. This is somehow worse than this. These episodes cost millions of dollars to make, and this is what we get? Some dumb jokes told with no plot, no characters, no nothing? I thought the Mr. Beast episode was all over the place, but this somehow tops it. Hands down, one of the worst episodes of anything I have seen in my entire life. I have spent more time thinking about how to formulate this review than the writers did on the story of this episode of a beloved series. I hope that one day, the writers of this episode can look back and see what disgusting creation they birthed into the world with as much abhorrence as I had after watching this eight-minute show.
