With several new cheesy spy themed graphics and sound effects. Otherwise, it's exactly the same format as Kitchen Nightmares. It is still moderately entertaining, but would be better without all the extra gimmicks and such. I'm not entirely sure why a show like this has to have all the extra dramatic nonsense. People like home makeover shows and the like (HGTV is very popular and nobody is screaming and crying on those shows), and other cooking shows/travel shows featuring restaurants just keep it classy, but for some reason Fox thinks nobody will watch Gordon Ramsay if he's not making somebody cry. Personally, I would really like this show if it was a little lighter on the gimmicks and manufactured drama.
Great show. Glad I found it after I saw it advertised! I started with Episode 4, The Golden Rule. In looking at many of the show episodes, seems their are a lot arrogant, stubborn restaurant owners that need help communicating to their staff. It's difficult for the owners to raise the bar of their restaurant when they act like spoiled kids, pitching fits when someone suggest needed change. I like that they help the restaurants with new design, seating, appliances, and social media advertising.
This series delivers the very best of Gordon Ramsay - raw, relentless, and remarkably inspiring. With his signature no-nonsense approach, Ramsay dives into outdated kitchens and failing restaurants, uncovering the dysfunctional teams, tired menus, and neglected spaces that desperately need a wake-up call.
Through tough love and expert insight, Gordon breathes new life into these businesses, guiding their owners and staff toward not just aesthetic transformation, but personal growth and renewed passion.
Sometimes, we all need a dose of Gordon Ramsay - to strip away the emotional baggage, cut through the excuses, and refocus on what truly matters.
I absolutely love this series. It's a heartfelt and soft reminder of motivation we all need.

To be honest, this show is great. While everyone is saying it's scripted / staged, when actually everything blends in, the cameras, the "renovation" theme.. the workers may ask what's with the cameras all over but who actually sits and wonders of such a small detail.
You should enjoy the show because it's a new renovation concept. And of course it has that kitchen nightmare plot, cause what can he do new, break the entire building and make a new one? While the one talented chef gets his dream come true out of nowhere, the owners of the restaurants get to change their lives !
And on top of that, you think there aren't many restaurants with the exact problems and difficulites you see in each episode? Big surprise, there are freakin a lot. You should use your imagination a little bit more before delivering such critics, i dont believe it's staged, but nonetheless, you should be 100% sure Gordon recieves thousands of messages from people asking him for help, for exactly that kind of help. The show delivers, that s all i can say. Gordon, 10 out of 10 for the nice changes you did !

It's called Secret Service but has a spy theme? They use the word "insider" annoyingly often and there's a whole climax leading up to finding out who it is but they don't give the audience a reason to care. They never explain what they're working towards so on episode 1 you have to just guess what's happening. And they don't give you enough backstory on the people to empathize with them so there's a disconnect between audience and show subject. As a huge fan of Kitchen Nightmares, this show feels like it was made by AI and is relying on a half-baked gimmick. I'm sad! I created an IMDB account just to review this show I feel so passionate!!
