Absolutely gripping

The movie slowly pulls you into its central dilemma. Honestly, it's best not to know too much about what that is beforehand. What follows are impossible dilemmas, an unraveling friendship and one of the most painful scenes I've ever seen. It's well acted, beautifully shot in the Austrian mountains, and well paced. Just sit back and let yourself be pulled in. A rare excellent Dutch film!

This is a must see Dutch movie

This is a fantastic movie that stays in your brain for a while. Have seen it some months ago and now it was showing one night on Curaçao where I could not watch it again unfortunately. The actors are great and indeed it should be nominated for an Oscar for the best foreign movie. Also perhaps best actress for Tekla.

One of The Best Dutch Movies ever made

Impressive film by Mike van Diem. Oscar-worthy. A story full of dilemmas, excellently written dialogues, fantastic acting performances, and camera work. The film grabs you by the throat and you leave the theater full of emotions. One of the best Dutch films I have ever seen in my life. Worth 10 stars.

This movie doesn't quite deliver. The acting feels uneven, with some moments lacking the right timing, which affects the overall flow. The dialogue comes across as forced and unnatural. While the premise had potential, the execution falls short, leaving the film less enjoyable than expected. It's surprising to me that it has such a high rating given its flaws.

One of the better Dutch movies

Gripping from the start, great acting and a story that keeps you captivating till the very end. This story has kept my wife and me discussing all of the characters' choices throughout the entire movie. It's a genuine conversation starter, which is something not many Dutch movies have been capable of till now. Just wow!
