One Drop

Just terrible. Once you see a 6'5" 260 lbs man let a 5'9" 100lbs wet man cut a wire, you'll realize it's too late and your more than 1 hour in. (Ask me) Script? Horrible. Plot? Horrible. Monster costume? Horrible (just like the aliens from the TV show Land of the Lost) Acting? Horrible, the only one who did a great job was Henry. The mother sound like she was having a orgasm just by breathing instead of sounding scared.

The idea is muddled and the dialog is frequently too clever... Also, all of the characters have secrets which are to be revealed at the most dramatic moments--frequently by the characters spending a lot of time talking when the situation is desperate and seconds are supposed to be critical. Furthermore the monsters are not terribly convincing and are shown enough that they lose any sense of uncanny menace that might have been there when they are first glimpsed.

Do not expect the story to make sense on any level and you might be able to enjoy the film anyway as it is technically decent and the actors are not bad.

OK, yes it's a basic plot, but it's done very well, I think the story and acting are better than most big budget horror films. If you can sit through a Resident Evil movie and not complain you should be blown away by something like this.

I happen to love creepy hospital movies, I don't know why. This sets a good mood, the right amount of mystery and creepiness. The characters aren't Dostoyevskian but were interesting and layered enough for a horror movie, the revelations come at the right times and are sufficiently hard to predict. The only negative is that the monsters look like leftover alien costumes from a 50s Sci fi movie.

Style is everything and this low budget horror film doesn't have much of it.

The premise is interesting. A woman overdoses and awakens pregnant in a hospital underground. There are monsters and they're not a bad idea, just underused.

The acting, dialogue and pacing is sub-par. Could have been a good film with a little more effort. The director tries several different story angles and none of them works.

Never really got off the ground and ending was disappointing. Low budget is not an excuse to make bad films. See my review of "Southbound" for a low budget horror film that is excellent on a low budget.

Good movie to watch for especially the creatures formations and nice horror scenes makes this movie one of the best.
