The second night of the 2025 Creative Arts Emmys are honoring the final slate of winners.

The annual two-day event, which takes place the weekend before the Primetime Emmys, is in the midst of handing out dozens of awards to mostly below-the-line categories. Awards announced on Sunday will span variety programming, nonfiction and reality sectors.

Julianne Nicholson (Hacks), Merritt Weaver (Severance), Shawn Hatosy (The Pitt), and Bryan Cranston (The Studio) all won individual honors for their guest roles.

The two-night event the week before the main Emmys show hands out awards for technical categories, as well as guest acting and more, with the first night focused on scripted programming.

Among the winners of the night included AppleTV+ series The Studio, which picked up the most, as well as Beyoncé finally winning an Emmy after eight past nominations. She and her team won Outstanding Costumes for Variety, Nonfiction or Reality Programming for Beyonce Bowl.

Shawn Hatosy and Merritt Wever won the awards for best drama guest actor and actress at the 2025 Creative Arts Emmys.

Hatosy earned both his first Emmy nomination and win for his role as Dr. Jack Abbot in the premiere season of HBO’s The Pitt. “I very much want to thank John Wells who has thrown me so many lifelines over the years,” Hatosy said, shouting out the show’s co-creator and executive producer, in his acceptance speech. “I’d say more but I’m gonna cry and that would be embarassing,” he added before also acknowledging his co-star and series lead.

“Noah Wyle, your leadership, your performance on The Pitt is extraordinary,” Hatosy continued. “It’s unbelievable being on the other side of what you’re bringing.”

Wever, who didn’t attend the awards, received her third Emmy for her portrayal of Gretchen George in season two of Severance.

Merritt Wever beat the odds to win the Best Drama Guest Actress Emmy for Severance. The final Gold Derby odds had Wever in second place, with a 19 percent chance of winning. The overwhelming frontrunner was Kaitlyn Dever for The Last of Us, who had a 70 percent chance of claiming the Emmy.

ESPN and Fox have both launched Dtc streaming services in the past month, and now a new one could be on the way to offer even more sports outside the cable bundle. The new streamer is on the way from TNT Sports, whose future top man, Gunnar Wiedenfels, teased that the Dtc product could be hitting the market soon on Wednesday.

HBO Max has had a strong start in Australia, and now it’s got another route into the local market.

The Warner Bros. Discovery streamer has launched on Prime Video as an add-on subscription, a move that follows its debut in the country back in March. Though many considered the roll-out late in a market that already has heavy SVOD penetration, estimates are that it has secured upwards of 5% of the total market already.

On Prime Video, it will be available for A$11.99 a month ($7.82) for the Basic with Ads tier or A$15.99 a month for the Standard package.

Dances With Wolves star and Hollywood icon Graham Greene has passed away at the age of 73.

Per Deadline, Greene passed away on Sept. 1 at a Toronto area hospital after a prolonged illness. Greene's passing was confirmed by his agent, Michael Greene (no relation). "He was a great man of morals, ethics and character and will be eternally missed," he said in a statement. "You are finally free." The statement also referenced Greene's former agent and longtime friend who passed in 2013 with the note, "Susan Smith is meeting you at the gates of heaven."
