The pacing may be sluggish coming off a solo leveling high. This isekai takes several tropes one could argue are tired. However the absolute gap in the protagonists abilities and his oblivousness in conjuction with his unfaltering kindness make for an at times side splitting watch. I find myself giggling uncontrollably and being dissapointed on how quickly the experience is over. This will be a series I impatiently wait week after week for. It's to early to tell what character development we will see but I'm optimistic based on how natural it feel for rhe mc to blow everyone he comes in contact with away.
This is what I would describe as a comfort show, one that leaves you with the same fuzzy feeling Kurt's baked buns do. The premise is very simple: the main character Kurt is very bad at combat but incredibly good at everything else, to the level of: being able to build a mansion in a few days, create the most delicious dishes or dig a hole up to 8 kilometers deep in 24 hours (which apparently was very common in the village where he came from). This leads to the very interesting character concept that he thinks he's useless even though he isn't. Imposter syndrome at its best.
Kurt's character steals the show, and his antiques lead to hilarious situations. I had a lot of fun watching this show and bingewatched it in 1 day. I can also say that it was surprisingly well put together, with plenty of foreshadowing.
My only complaints would be that it did feel random at times. Apart from that, the romance (or rather: women being attracted to him) felt forced. Still those are minor nitpicks to an otherwise good show.
The main reason why I don't give it any higher than a 7 is because it didn't do anything amazing as well.
Watch it on a sick day to feel better.

At best, it's mediocre. The potential was evident, but the execution felt half-baked, as if it were made simply for the sake of it without any genuine effort. The animation sometimes feels awkward, remaining merely average. As for the soundtrack, including both the opening and ending themes, they are acceptable but not particularly memorable-although musical tastes vary.
The characters seem standard and somewhat forgettable. I originally watched it because it is a chill anime, yet it becomes boring due to its lackluster execution. I was also excited about the possibility of underlying harem elements-a known trait in these types of shows-but the plot barely explores that aspect, giving only fleeting glimpses. It feels like a one-time watch.
Perhaps it might work as background entertainment while doing other tasks, providing a way to pass the time. Otherwise, its slow pace may cause viewers to lose interest, even though I never stopped watching due to its lighthearted nature that suits my taste. Overall, it's a very average anime, and I doubt there will be a second season.

I started this anime on 3rd April 2025, but since episodes were coming out weekly, I paused after watching just 2 episodes. Finally, on 30th June 2025, I binge-watched the rest.
This anime falls under the fantasy, adventure, and comedy genre. Honestly, after watching the first episode, it almost felt like it was going to be about a construction worker or something related to masonry 🤣. Our main character, Kurt Rockhans, gets kicked out of his original party because of being completely useless in combat. But soon, he discovers that while he may not be good at fighting, he's a master at support roles like repairing walls, digging mines, and carrying golems - and not just that, he's ranked SSS in those areas!
I won't spoil much, but even with a relatively simple and decent story, it turned out to be a fun watch. The anime includes light politics and some satisfying world-building. As season one ends, it leaves behind a small hook that makes me curious about the next season.
Overall, it's definitely a one-time watch anime, and if season two comes, I'll be interested.
⭐ Rating: 6/10 from me.
