Mommy's Perfect Match (2025)
Directed by Kitty J.
Mommy's Perfect Match is a chilling psychological thriller that dives deep into the fractured psyche of Monica, a young woman whose search for love and maternal connection spirals into obsession and violence. Directed by Kitty J., the film delivers a haunting portrait of trauma and desire, reminiscent of Gone Girl with a splash of The Hand That Rocks the Cradle.
At its core, the story is compelling. Monica's journey-from a childhood marked by abuse to a woman fixated on finding both the ideal romantic partner and a surrogate mother-unfolds with eerie tension. Her charm, vulnerability, and volatility make her both sympathetic and terrifying, and the film smartly blurs the line between victim and predator.
The performances, particularly from the lead actress playing Monica, are strong and emotionally layered, keeping you engaged even when the pacing drags slightly in the second act. Kitty J.'s direction demonstrates a sharp understanding of suspense, with several memorable scenes that will stick with you long after the credits roll.
However, the film isn't without flaws. Some technical issues, most notably inconsistent lighting, are distracting in key moments. Shadows fall unnaturally across faces, and some nighttime scenes lack the clarity and polish needed to sustain tension. These glitches don't derail the film, but they do undercut its overall production value.
Despite the visual hiccups, Mommy's Perfect Match is a solid indie thriller that succeeds in creeping under your skin. It's an unsettling ride through the mind of a woman whose desire for love turns deadly-and a promising outing for director Kitty J. Worth watching for fans of slow-burn psychological horror with a twist.

Watch this movie and be the judge and jury. I feared and cheered this character. Don't miss out on this crazy story filled with action, twist turns,, drama, sex. You won't be disappointed this time. Get your popcorn 🍿 and drink ready. Hold on to your seat because this lady is throwed .
Kitty & Phillip put together a scary movie that had me on the edge of my seat full of laughter and fright. I was thoroughly entertained from start to finish. I traveled from Atlanta to Dallas to see this movie, and I wasn't disappointed. Did I mention that there wasn't an empty seat in sight?! That should tell you everything. I have watched Kitty from afar, and I am so proud of her growth and place in this film industry. She is a force and with her husband Phillip by her side, the sky is the limit. Together, they epitomize the meaning of "Teamwork Makes The Dream Work." Congratulations to Kitty & Phillip - and the whole cast/crew/team!

This movie was a Complete nail biter , Attended on opening night with my wife
That normally would've objected to any type of film that makes you blood pressure rise and she stayed on the edge of her seat Sn even recapped certain scenes for me on the way home . Definitely a perfect date night film Great job to the cast and film crew .I loved every aspect of the experience. I will be watching it again and try not too respond to certain parts so I won't miss the next scene lol. The ending leaves me wondering if there will be a sequel or another spinoff possibly a backstory to the many exciting scenes.
Mommy's Perfect Match is an emotional and intense thriller that takes you deep into Monica's traumatic past as she searches for the perfect mother figure. The story is gripping, with strong performances and a solid plot that keeps you engaged. What really stood out was the touch of dark humor-it added a surprising layer of balance to the heavy themes. It's raw, thought-provoking, and unexpectedly funny at times. A solid watch for anyone who enjoys thrillers with depth and heart. There were a couple of scenes I could not help but to laugh at even though they were supposed to be serious scenes. Great movie!
