Robert Ronny used to work for TV stations in Indonesia. His disdain towards free to air TV is well documented that he often criticize Indonesian TV stations only care about ratings and put out bad quality shows and programs that actually bad for the public.
In the press conference, Robert Ronny stated that one of the main theme of the film is about the unrealistic demand for women's beauty standards nowadays because of media and especially social media. He said that this really concerns him and actually shared same concern with movie The Substance. Even though completely different genre but he thinks Coralie Fargeat the Writer and Director of The Substance has same concern as he is regarding this matter.
It took 3 different building to 'create' WinTV office building that matches Robert Ronny's vision.
