Scooby Doo and the Robots

Like a few other "Movies" it's really just a couple of episodes of What's New Scooby Doo with the same theme.

Scooby Doo and the Zombies is another in the same vein.

It's not bad, the humor is there and What's New Scooby Doo was a fairly decent rendition of the series, the only problem is that it sort of failed to update well, as in, it held so clothes to the original that what they did update seemed forced.

Over all, you aren't getting anything new, if you have seen "What's New Scooby Doo?" You have seen this.

Great duet of shows that demonstrate how well Scooby Doo has stood up over the ages. Both of these are prime examples that give novices a great start into the Scoobyverse and nods of appreciation from veterans. Straight up Scooby entertainment with all the components we like to see.

I was fortunate enough to stumble upon the 2011 animated movie "Scooby Doo and the Robots" here in 2025. And with it being a "Scooby Doo" adventure that I hadn't already seen, of course I opted to sit down and watch it.

The voice acting in "Scooby Doo and the Robots" is good, which is important for an animated movie. So thumbs up for that. And there are some very familiar voices to bring the characters to life, such as Mindy Cohn, Casey Kasem and Frank Welker, which makes for a great continuity between the various "Scooby-Doo" adventures.

The art style and animation style in the segments are classic "Scooby-Doo", so you know what you are getting here. And it makes for some great nostalgia and familiarity.

If you enjoy the "Scooby-Doo" animated movies, then "Scooby Doo and the Robots" is worth watching.
