I usually try to find something redeeming in every film I watch-but Ghatikachalam truly tested my patience.

From the very beginning, the movie struggles to find its footing. The plot feels confused and directionless, as if the makers themselves weren't sure what kind of story they wanted to tell. It teases depth and mystery but delivers none. Instead, we get a sluggish narrative filled with forced emotions, awkward pacing, and underwhelming performances.

The lead actors appear disconnected from their roles, and the dialogues often feel either overdramatic or painfully flat. Even the background score, which could have elevated some scenes, feels mismatched and repetitive. The cinematography and editing lack finesse, making the entire film look amateurish despite its potential.

To sum it up, Ghatikachalam is a missed opportunity. What could have been an engaging story ends up as a forgettable mess. I rarely write harsh reviews, but this film left me frustrated and disappointed. Not recommended.

Direction & Storytelling: The direction is razor-sharp. The filmmaker keeps the audience on edge, skillfully layering tension and mystery throughout. The narrative unfolds like a psychological maze - unpredictable, gripping, and unsettling. The horror is not loud or gory, but it crawls under your skin, feeding off fear and confusion.

Cinematography: The cinematography is simply top-notch. Each frame is thoughtfully composed, with haunting visuals, shadowy lighting, and clever camera angles that elevate the sense of dread. The use of color and silence adds depth, making the atmosphere as much a character as the cast itself.

Acting: The lead actor delivers a phenomenal performance. Portraying a character spiraling into mental torment is no easy feat, but they do so with subtlety and raw emotion. You feel every ounce of paranoia, fear, and helplessness - a portrayal that truly anchors the film.

Verdict: Ghatikachalam may not be everyone's cup of tea - it's slow-burn and more psychological than jump-scare-heavy. But for those who appreciate intelligent horror with artistic execution, it's a haunting experience worth watching.

Excellent acting by nikhil devadula, prabhakar garu,and Aarvika gupta as i know nikhil personally he is very talented and upcoming star, i have seen his indepth acting skills in this movie,as expected the output was excellent and coming to direction part amar garu you have done an miracle. Watched twice suspence which killed inside for next scene was amazing. Locations and timing of dialogue delevery was good. I Strongly feel that part 2 of this movie should start immediately that will be more entertainment for audience.nikhil you looks were so amazing in the movie .... All the best to entire team.

First of all, big congratulations to Director #Amar Kamepalli. You made the movie very interesting and meaningful. In today's world, every parent should watch a film like this.

The story and screenplay are very well done. It keeps you engaged from start to end and sends a strong message without feeling boring. You've shown the topic in a clear and emotional way, which is really impressive

Just one small suggestion - if you want to make it a bit more commercial, you could add a few comedy scenes to balance the emotions. That might attract more general audience too.

Kudos to the entire team for making such a meaningful and impactful film. Looking forward to more such movies from Amar Kamepalli!
