    From neither. The noble House whose members are the protagonists of the Telltale series is barely mentioned in A Dance with Dragons and doesn't appear at all in the show; the game features an original story set in Westeros, intertwining with canon events.



    The first episode of the series features major spoilers for new viewers who have yet to reach the end of the third season of the HBO show.



    Yes. More specifically, the title sequence (which includes the original main theme) portrays locations visited in the episode, just like in the series.



    It's a series composed of six episodes, released periodically. Decisions made in previous episodes carry on in following ones.



    It follows the show's continuity.

    House Forrester

    Gregor Forrester: Patriarch of House Forrester and Lord of Ironrath. Loyal to House Stark and banner man of House Glover. Married to Elissa and has six children with her and two bastards of his own. Highly talented in battle.

    Elissa Forrester: Wife of Gregor Forrester and formerly of House Branfield. Has six children, who she cares deeply about, even if it means willing to die or them.

    Rodrik Forrester: Gregor and Elissa's eldest child and son. Prefers to be on the battlefield than to stay couped up in a castle defending it. Has a love interest for Elaena Glenmore, who he knew as a child. Took over as head of House Forrester after his father died.

    Asher Forrester: The second child and Forrester son, known for his rebellious behavior. His lovelife with Gwyn Whitehill almost ensured a war with the Whitehill family, but resulted in his exile. A marked man by Tazal.

    Mira Forrester: The third child and eldest Forrester girl. Handmaiden of Maergery Tyrell.

    Ethan Forrester: The third son and Talia's twin. Acting Lord of Ironrath while Gregor and Rodrik are away. Not taken seriously because of his youth. Plays the lute.

    Talia Forrester: The youngest daughter and Ethan's twin. Named after her grandmother. A poetic singer.

    Ryon Forrester: The youngest Forrester son and child. Too young to understand rule and responsibility, became a ward of the Whitehills as ordered by Ramsay Bolton.

    Josera Snow: Gregor's bastard son North of the Wall and Elsera's brother. Wargs into his bear Shadow. Protected the North Grove, but yearns to travel south.

    Elsera Snow: Gregor's bastard daughter North of the Wall and Josera's sister. A witch skilled in blood magic and able to control other wildlings in battle.

    House Whitehill

    Ludd Whitehill: Lord of Highpoint and patriarch of the Whitehills. A stubborn man with a heavy grudge against the Forresters. Had five children from his late wife. Shows loyatly to the Boltons, but has a secret agenda, even if it means defying their orders for personal gain.

    Gwyn Whitehill: Ludd's daughter. Wishes to unite her family with the Forresters. Had an affection for Asher Forrester, which nearly started a war. Tries to defend the behaviors of her father and brother, despite their bitterness toward the Forresters.

    Gryff Whitehill: Ludd's youngest son and child. Just as stubborn as his father and his actions tend to be reckless. Stationed at Harrenhal during the war. Most of his anger comes from being picked on by his older brothers.

    House Glenmre

    Elaena Glenmore: The oldest Glenmore daughter, who has an affection toward Rodrik Forrester.

    Arthur Glenmore: Called Quiver do to his archery ability. Masters bowman. Son of Lord Glenmore.

    The Tuttles

    Duncan Tuttle: Gregor Forrester's childhood friend and Castellan at Ironrath. Not from a noble family, raised by pig farmers

    Gared Tuttle: Gregor's squire. Dreamed of fighting on the front lines in battle. After the Red Wedding, he went north to fulfill Gregor's dying wish to protect the North Grove.

    Sworn Brothers of the Night's Watch

    Denis Frostfinger: A seasoned veteran of the Watch, and acting Master-at-Arms while Alliser Thorne was acting as Commander. Oversees training of the new recruits.

    Finn: A brute from the Riverlands, sent to the Wall for having an affair with a Noble Lady and killing her husband. He kept the dagger he pilfered from the dead Lord as a trophy. Butts heads with both Gared and Cotter at the beginning.

    Britt Warrick: Formerly a soldier of House Whitehill. After allowing a Bolton soldier to be killed by Gared, he was sent to the Wall. Not on good terms with Gared, since he blames him for the exile to the Wall.

    The Wildlings and Free folk

    Cotter: A wildling who pretended to steal potatoes after his wildling friends were caught stealing weapons. Forced into the Night's Watch. Butts heads with Finn but befriends Gared.

    Sylvi: Cotter's sister beyond the Wall. Knows of the North Grove, but fears heading there. Believes in Mance Rayder's plan to attack the Wall. Despises the Night's Watch.

    Shadow: A snow bear beyond the Wall who is also Josera's companion and warg animal.

    First Appearing in Season 1

    Malcolm Branfield: Elissa's brother. The last man carrying the Branfield name. A black sheep in his family, and considered a hedge knight.

    Maester Ortengryn: Maester of Ironrath. Loyal to the Forresters. Originally from the Vale.

    Beshka: A sellsword of Essos and companion of Ashers. Sold into slavery as a young girl, who was forced to fight in the Arena to the death. Now free, but still haunted by the memories.

    Royland Degore: Master-at-Arms at Ironrath. A veteran of war while loyal to the Forresters. Known to be Hot-headed and willing to get in a fight, despite the numbers of the opposition.

    Tom: A coal boy who befriends Mira Forresters and helps her out in messy situations.

    Sera Flowers: Mira's friend and fellow handmaiden to Maergary. Hides the fact that she is a bastard. Under the guise of being of House Durwell.

    Andros: An ambassador for the Whitehills. Has a long standing agreement with Lyman Lannister. Has an uncontrollable temper.

    Rickard Morgryn: An ambassador from the Whitehills looking to sell ironwood to the Lannisters. Has no real loyalties, since he sees the Whitehills as untrustful.

    Harys: A Master-at-Arms loyal to the Whitehills under Gryffs command. Considered a ruthless warrior.

    Amaya: Former slave and friend of Beshka's. Commands a group of pit fighters after Meereen was liberated.

    Garibald Tarwick: Lord of House Tarwick, and once Sealord of Braavos. Matched with Sera Flowers for betrothel, unaware she's a bastard.

    Croft: Leader of the Hellhounds, which is part of the Second Suns. Loyal to Daenerys Targaryen. Missing an eye.

    Lyman Lannister: Nephew to Tywin Lannister. Has a business referendum with Andros. Addicted to poppymilk, and constantly drinks it after he sustained a serious injury in a jousting tournament.

    Lucan: A loyal Lannister guard who is very brutish, especially toward Mira.

    The Beast: A heavyset gladiator in Meereen. Guards the entryway to the Arena.

    Tazal: Warrior fighting for the Lost Legion. Vows to take the heads of Asher and Beshka.

    Erik: A Forrester soldier who was caught stealing weapons from the Ironrath armory.

    Norren: A warrior of House Forrester and a known drunk.

    Bowen: Norren's squire and close friends with Gared.

    Bloodsong: A former slave and considered by Amaya to be the pit champion because of his ferocious skills in combat.

    Dezhor zo Raza: Beshka's former master. Forced slave children to fight in the Arena, at times against animals, then against other kids.

    Damien: A Lannister guard who was hired to kill Mira Forrester.

    Bezzaq: A Yunkish slave master targeted by Asher and Beshka.
