Monica is a lost and broken woman after a series of setbacks, leaving her world and all she has known upside down. After a brutal attack by a local gang she feels she has nothing left and wishes for somebody to come and 'save her'. A MAN appears from nowhere and protects Monica from another attack at the hands of the gang. They form a deep and powerful bond that engulfs them as they become each other's world. As her confidence is restored through the MAN's actions she then begins to question his past. As she investigates she is forced to confront truths about her own existence, truths that she never thought existed. The Story Follows MONICA, a woman who feels trapped in a small country town, whose life has been disrupted by a painful separation from her cheating husband and being forced to move back in with her Mother and abusive father. To compound her problems, MONICA is being bullied by a local family of thugs and petty criminals who intimidate the towns inhabitants.

MONICA'S only wish is that someone will come and save her from her unhappy life. One day a mysterious stranger walks into town and befriends MONICA at a moment where she feels she is at her lowest ebb. She confides in the MAN and later witnesses him single-handedly confront the local bullies, at the shock and admiration of the locals. MONICA and the MAN quickly form an intense bond which soon develops into a passionate affair.

The local family give the MAN an ultimatum: to fight in one of their tournaments or the harassment of MONICA will continue. The MAN agrees and the bond between him and MONICA intensifies. After the fight, the MAN becomes the talking point for the towns people, now myth and speculation combine and they wonder where this enigmatic stranger has come from. As MONICA begins to rebuild her self-confidence, her status in her employment and her well-being improves. But it's not long before MONICA begins to question the MANS past. Who is he? Where did he come from? What has he done? As MONICA investigates, she also discovers the answers to questions about herself that she never knew she would ask. As she confronts some of the truths about her own existence as well as the MAN; events quickly spiral out of control through a living nightmare that could have devastating repercussions for herself and her 'SAVIOUR'
