This is easily one of the stupidest movies I have ever watched in Malayalam. From the story line to the dialouges, its easy to notice that zero effort or thought went into this movie. The story lacks any real meaning or moral. From the start it felt like some wanna be script writer wrote a romantic novel for a B-grade magazine and one day decided to make a movie out of it. Lacks any talent or art. The only thing that hold the movie together is Dhyan else it would have been a complete disaster.
Talking about the editing and cinematography, it felt like watching a serial. I have seen better short films with much better editing and sound. The jump cuts and sudden music drops makes the movie feel like an amateurs attempt.
Don't even think about watching this movie. Your time is better spend doing absolutely anything else.

From the moment Oshana begins, it's clear that the film struggles with its identity. Is it a romance? A comedy? A coming-of-age drama? Sadly, it fails in all three categories. What could have been a fresh take on relationships and personal growth turns into an excruciating two-hour mess that tests the audience's patience.
A Plot That Goes Nowhere
The film meanders aimlessly, relying on outdated tropes and predictable clichés. There's no emotional depth, no real stakes, and certainly nothing to keep the viewer invested. The protagonist's journey, which should have been inspiring, instead feels forced and shallow.
Performances That Fall Flat
The acting is as lifeless as the screenplay. The lead actors struggle to deliver convincing performances, making it hard to connect with their characters. Even seasoned actors appear uninspired, as if they themselves are unsure of what they're doing in the film.
Comedy Without Punch, Drama Without Heart
The so-called "humor" consists of recycled jokes and cringeworthy dialogues that fail to land. Meanwhile, the emotional moments feel artificial, lacking sincerity and impact.
Direction & Editing: A Disaster
The direction is uninspired, and the pacing is painfully slow. Scenes drag on unnecessarily, making the movie feel much longer than it actually is. The editor seems to have given up halfway through, leaving awkward cuts and choppy transitions that disrupt whatever little flow the film has.
Music That Doesn't Help
Even the background score and songs fail to uplift the film. Instead of enhancing emotions, they feel misplaced and forgettable.
Final Verdict: A Waste of Time
Oshana is a film that could have been so much more, but instead, it sinks into the abyss of mediocrity. It's an exhausting, predictable, and frustrating watch that leaves no lasting impact. If you value your time, skip this one.
