I remember seeing this film as a child aired on educational channels. It is a Brazilian animated film whose main theme is patriotism and is aimed at children. However, for a children's film, and even more so one made in 2007, it has so many dark and violent scenes that I can't even believe this was aired on TV Cultura. The story of the film revolves around a city with Brazilian animals and the relationship between parents and children, the trio of protagonists (Tales, Bandeira and Jairzinho) they are introduced as very unlikeable boys, all they care about is just wanting to be victorious in a violent fighting game and they are disrespectful to their parents. The film gets even worse when the character Ratão is introduced, a criminal who is unfaithful to his wife and children and orders his henchmen to kidnap and kill 3 boys just because they messed with his son. The film ends with a forced message of patriotism with Tales and his friends escaping and winning the online fighting game championship using the name of their city and Ratão manages to escape being arrested for his crime.

I wonder how anyone watched this movie and came to the conclusion: this is a perfect movie for children to watch on educational channels. It's like expecting the US to show The Simpsons Movie on PBS and market it as kid-friendly. Clearly a film that deals with violent games, attempted child murder, in addition to the drama that Jairzinho has over his missing parents. This is further proof how the Brazilian cinema only uses public money incorrectly for audiovisual content.

I made a video talking about this film on YouTube, at first the video went well, without any copyright issues, but after a while it seems that the creator of the film saw my video criticizing the violent content and he gave me a strike! Like, what goes through this person's head to do something like that? Doesn't he know how to accept criticism for his film? And the most ironic thing is that this was supposed to be an educational film. And all I did was just talk about some scenes from the movie, this is a complete lack of respect and immaturity in wanting to throw a strike just because of a criticism of his movie.
