Reapers

I personally loved its unique blend of supernatural action and drama. For fans of the genre, the film offers a distinctive experience that intertwines supernatural elements with action-packed sequences.

I'm sorry, but this movie is terrible. It's just a random collection of scenes (some well crafted, some not), with no plot connecting them. Some scenes are painfully slow with meaningless dialogue. The more it went on, the more I wanted to turn it off, but I kept going in hopes of something 'thrilling' or 'gripping' actually happening. Nothing.

I have rarely watched a movie with celestial beings and been so bored. The fight scenes are poorly choreographed, the acting is so wooden that the cast was in danger from termites, and the plot was pretty threadbare. The protagonists faced no real challenges; they simply set goals and then did them with no real setbacks.

And I'm using "protagonists" with reason: There are no heroes in this movie. There is no one to really get behind and the protagonists are just as bad as the antagonists.

I will give them credit for using the descendants' mind control powers in battle, but that's a rare silver light in this movie. Even Danny Trejo is wasted, as he's obviously phoning it in.

This movie should be avoided at all costs.

Okay so we were told to check this out by the african american film group that supports up and coming artists and Justin price...boy you are on your way! Some of these scenes looked straight from a marvel film or something loved the rain and swords and the opening fight and ---yes just yes -- you did your thing, i believe this will be a hit for all ages, what i liked is it has the super hero vibes mixed with the undertones of what happens when we die and what we want to happen when we die and thats so cool just playing with those narratives boy you need to be on a studio! I saw I Heart Robots and then i see you have Tyrese in Hard Matter as well?!!! Oh the next Nolan is already here love it love it --

As the writer\director of this film I want to say thank you to everyone involved. I did this during the pandemic with some amazing people , some who are no longer here. A few parts are zoomed in and scenes cut because of that and this is also a part 1, so more to come -- it has been a dream of mine since I was a child to travel to Japan, Iceland, Germany, and France and to capture those amazing cultures in this film...what a blessing. Ty for your support and energy Hard Matter is my first feature film but this is my first love. I truly hope you enjoy the vibes and energy and go and watch I heart robots if you haven't already.
