My Dearest Nemesis is one of those cute, harmless shows with quirky moments that are sure to make you smile.
The enemies-to-lovers dynamic is pretty standard, but that's exactly what gives this show its charm. It's not breaking any boundaries, but it's got that fun, lighthearted vibe where you don't have to think too hard.
There are moments that are honestly adorable, and I'll admit I laughed more than I expected. But let's be real-sometimes it's a bit too silly. The slow-motion scenes and drawn-out standoffs between the characters may leave you wondering if you're watching a rom-com or a parody. Still, it's all in good fun.
The characters are charming enough, and while it's not the deepest or most groundbreaking K-drama out there, it's definitely a decent watch if you're in the mood for something that won't take itself too seriously.
It's one of those shows where you're not going to feel like you've wasted your time, but you probably won't be talking about it for days after either. Perfect for a casual binge when you need something light and easy to watch.

The story revolves around a "otaku" CEO who
have to hide his preferences and pose as a
serious e hard CEO. His problem is his team leader who is a pragmatic woman who doesn't fear nobody and is the culprit for hers superiors fired. At the beginning he tries
to fire her but soon he realise she is a very
competent team leader and began to work together. The iteration of the two is hilarious
and the way she finds by little the preferences of the CEO is very well written.
Another good Korean series to recomend and they become the leader in this genre.
I watch a lot the american and britsh series and there is not a series so god in the genre.

If uve been watching lots of intense, deep dramas and want a break, this is perfect. It's bright, light and easy to watch.
Overall plot is cliché as is for most rom coms but still maintains uniqueness and individuality.
Production quality is great, actors have good chemistry and scrumptious kisses.
Side characters get appropriate screen time hence feel real and the drama overall feels lived in and lively.
My fav were the side couple, they're SOOOO CUTE!!!!
I hated how the character of grandmother felt bland and only redemption was later, she went from mean villain to understanding elder within seconds,, that felt quite rushed.
Not the most mind blowing but just a simple, quality binge watch.

I was so curious about this sublime drama. First of'll the lead is so impeccable for each other it's like a dream couple. The theme of the plot is superb and it's so hysterical and astounding. I just optically canvassed the first episode and so relished it. Veto Ju-yeon and Baek Su-jeong their bond will be incredible they'll shine with their personalities. The Sixteen years later, plot was genuinely impressive the segment will be impacted by the way it's commenced so resplendent. Thanks a lot. The second episode treaser is also so exciting and very interesting. I'm also hoping that there'll be a happy ending.

Yes! My Dear Nemesis is a drama that delivers on every front-romance, humor, tension, and character growth. The unique premise, combined with the stellar performances of the leads, makes it an unforgettable experience. Whether you are a fan of slow-burn romance, workplace drama, or stories about self-discovery, this drama has something for everyone.
With its clever storytelling, well-paced romance, and engaging character arcs, My Dear Nemesis stands out as one of the best K-dramas of recent times. If you haven't watched it yet, it's definitely worth adding to your watchlist!
The comedy timing, office.

Despite the talent of the lead actors (who have proven to be amazing in other shows) this drama is an unfortunate disappointment, entirely due to the writing. The lack of chemistry between them is palpable, but it's hardly their fault when they're given such insufferable characters to work with. The female lead is clearly intended to embody an "independent woman," but the writer's interpretation of independence is painfully misguided. Instead of crafting a strong, self-sufficient character, they've given us someone who is loud, rude, inconsiderate, and thoroughly unpleasant. Meanwhile, the male lead is reduced to a clueless pushover, with even his personal interests-such as attending rock concerts-portrayed as something shameful.
The story itself is juvenile, riddled with shallow conflicts and exaggerated misunderstandings that make it difficult to take seriously. There's no depth, no meaningful development, just a frustrating series of interactions that fail to engage or evoke any real emotion. Given the quality of the script, it's no surprise that the performances suffer, as even the most talented actors can only do so much with weak material.
What's most baffling is the high rating this drama has somehow managed to maintain. It's as if viewers are grading based on potential rather than execution. Unfortunately, potential alone isn't enough. This could have been a compelling and heartfelt story with the right writing, but instead, it's a tedious and frustrating watch.

Having now seen both, I prefer the current Kdrama featuring Choi Hyun-wook as the emotionally shut-down chaebol presumed heir to his Grandmaother's dept. Store empire and Moon Ga-young as the prickly, self-realized senior planning executive. Both are charming and their chemistry develops in a unique arc involving an epic first-love snafu that leaves both wounded, wary and hating their crush. Back when, she was an 19 y/o gamer "Strawberry" and he was a15 y/o master-gamer "Black Dragon." After their disastrous first IRL meeting, they never meet again until he arrives as the new Director (after she had gotten the last of many directors fired for bad behavior). They circle each other as adversaries, oblivious to their shared awful past. And she is difficult, prickly and judgey but capable. She rises to the management challenge he faces as a matter of professional pride. While they work together, they grow to trust & appreciate one another believably.
Each character has a well-developed arc and it never feels fake or forced to me.
A second couple, of older, more experienced and more wary lovers, know the true identities of the two but have no idea how to let them know who is who and as they fall in love. This couple is a lovely counterpoint to the other.
The chaebol's grandmother, a seriously flawed and aggrieved mother, blames her grandson for her son's death and clamps down on him.
Will they or won't they? Will he reveal himself and live his authentic life? It's great fun, doesn't drag in the middle that I noticed. Many funny moments. Choi really is a terrific leading man.
Unlike WWWSK, where the FL is a treacley-sweet perfect helpmate to Park Seo-joon's stiff chaebol, PSJ did too good a job of making himself self-involved and insufferable as a character attribute.

I was honestly so curious about how the chemistry would work between the two of them, but after just the first episode, I was completely hooked! The concept is such eye candy-it's fun, engaging, and just the right mix of sweetness and charm. As for Choi Hyun Wook, I've mostly seen him play student roles, so watching him take on the character of a company director was a nice change. It's a more serious role, but he absolutely nailed it. What I love most is how he balances his character's serious side with his childlike, more playful side. He brings such a natural, effortless energy to it, and honestly, he's so funny! There were so many moments where I just couldn't stop laughing. His performance is really complex, and he just makes it look so easy.
Moon Ga Young, too, is incredible. You can tell she's a true actress-knowing she's way older than him, she holds her own so well against Hyun Wook. She never feels too mature for him, and they really complement each other.
Despite the age gap, the chemistry between him and Moon Ga Young feels so natural and sweet. There are these little moments when you can see Hyun Wook blushing around her, and it's just too cute! It makes their connection even more genuine. Honestly, you should check out the BTS-it's a total eye candy, especially seeing him blush when they're filming. As for the show itself, the plot isn't heavy, but that's exactly what makes it so enjoyable. It's light, relaxing, and has this easy charm that makes it perfect to unwind with.

The highly anticipated drama "My Dearest Nemesis," featuring Choi Hyun Wook, known for his role as the second male lead in "2521" and his performance in "Twinkling Watermelon," alongside actress Moon Ga Young from "True Beauty," recently aired its final episode. It could not have ended better!
The show combines classic elements of a business proposal with the "enemies to lovers" trope, reminiscent of "King the Land." While the storyline was somewhat ordinary, the chemistry between the leads was refreshing and kept me engaged until the end of each episode.
With only 12 episodes, it's a light-hearted and funny watch. I think it's worth seeing at least once. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I hope you have a great day!

I blame the one star off on the netizens that criticized 16 episode kdramas to the point where we are now in this 12 episodes kdramas era. This 12 episode cohort is lacking nuance and storytelling, and the last 4 episodes are getting done so dirty. Where is the longing for 3 episodes and eventual get together in episode 14 or 15! Where is the internal conflict! It feels like they shortened kdramas by taking out the most interesting episodes and keeping the over the top falling action where someone has an accident or is fired from their job and all we see now is external conflict. I was hoping the last few episodes were gonna blow me away just like the first 9 episodes did but NO! Regardless, I am just being picky and I still love everything up to 9 so majority wins.

Mon Ga-young plays Baek Su-jeong who is the leader of the planning team, she is focused and lets her opinions be known earning her the nickname of director killer. After getting her previous director fired the new one Ban Joo-Yeon played by Choi Hyun-Wook immediately takes a disliking to her. What neither of them realise is that the deep distrust of the opposite sex they have can be linked back to an earlier meeting of theirs. Ga-young is always entertaining and the rest of the cast do a sterling job and we also have a second couple. I have given an 8 but probably closer to a 7.5 as although it is lightly amusing and a sweet story it never drew me in that much over the 12 episodes.

This plot is interesting, the actors are good when given a good story and director. Which lies the problem the story feels artificial, like the sequence of events are pasted together. Foreshadowing is extremely obvious to the point it gets revealed within the same episode and or the next. I feel the writing is from someone without much experience and or doesn't have the tenacity to do the research.
Next the director feels and shoots scenes like a novice, some shots make no sense or super bad. I can see the creativity in trying new things but if it doesn't work they should try something different. Which leads to the entire drama feeling unbelieveable and childish. At best I can say is ok to have as background noise, The ML last couple of dramas were so great Twinkling Watermelon, Weak Hero... If you got a backlog don't add.

"My Dearest Nemesis" was a big letdown. I started it because I like Choi Hyun-wook, and he acted well in his role. But Moon Ga-young's acting was really flat. She didn't show much, so it was hard to care about her or believe in the love story. The writing wasn't deep either - the story felt rushed and shallow, with no real emotion or strong connection between the main characters. I honestly would have stopped watching early if it weren't for the second couple. Im Se-mi and Kwak Si-yang, who played Seo Ha-jin and Kim Shin-won, were the only ones who had good chemistry and real feeling. Their scenes were much better than the leads'. In the end, the show failed as a romance. It felt empty, and I regret spending my time on it.

My Dearest Nemesis is another regular K-drama that follows classic overused pattern of romance that we frequently come across many korean dramas. While I was expecting something high from Choi Hyun Wook due to his recent selection of dramas, this drama is totally forgettable and full of clichés.
To begin with, I didn't sense any actual chemistry between the leads in any scene. The plot was lacklustre as it followed common trope of enemies to lovers, but in this drama, it was too quick.
The geek side of the male character felt cringey and awkward, instead of cute and endearing. While the drama had some good moments, the rest were nothing special and even at 12 episodes, it felt a long stretch. Better watch 100s of better dramas in the same genre out there.
My Rating : 5/10.
