The show used to be good and funny but it has become painful to watch. It wouldn't be half as bad if they acknowledged the obvious bias but instead they kind of pretend to be impartial satire while excusing or ignoring any negative side of Corbyn, the labour party or the remain campaign, applauding any positive even if flawed or down right wrong and insulting anyone who doesn't 100% agree.
The lack of balance is off putting.
3 guys, 2 are disabled, ones a ginger (uh?) sit and chat about current affairs.
The ginger laughs at every fifth word, uttered by the host (Hills) and its kind of like watching a sitcom, when you are TOLD when to laugh!
But lately (2021) It has just become a 'take the covid vaccine tool' show, scripted, pathetic, parroting the BS mainstream narrative!
The host Adam hills (aussie, go figure!..) Is obviously being paid well, because he literally has no idea what is going on with the SCAMdemic, and what the endgame is!
He just parrots the mainstream crap, without a second thought!
Tool!
It's not even funny!
We have the MSM news to do that for us! Shame on you Adam!
Just say no!
The Last Leg is a satirical take on the recent press, mainly political stuff, hosted by comedians Adam Hills, Alex Brooker and Josh Widdicombe. Initially the show was created as a satirical but true-to-form lookback at the Paralympics which the show still does every two years but as I stated above, it's mostly about political jokes and pop-culture references.
I've never been a fan of this show because I enjoy watching shows that are meant to entertain, not lecture me on being left or right-wing. Of course, as it's an "adult comedy show" there's plenty of sex jokes, shock humour and swearing galore; the three keys to British comedy panel shows.
The hosts... they can be likeable if they want to; but most of the times they're more annoying than anything. Josh is the only one of the trio who doesn't have a disability and he's normally the butt-monkey for whatever reason. Alex is alright, but Adam usually gets on my nerves after a while because he is utterly annoying.
There are plenty of guests as well, some who you wouldn't really expect to see on post-watershed programming as well. There's a good variety to be had there.
Can the show be a bit one-sided? Yeah. Is it not meant for everyone? Of course? Is it for me? Nah. I don't hate this programme as much as I did a couple of years ago but there's still nothing major to write home about.

I'd beg to differ with the majority of imdb reviews about this show.
These guys are modern minstrels: they notice that the king has no clothes on and they make a funny song-and-dance about it. It's a centuries-old tradition! It is so unfortunate that Brexit has so polarised opinions since 2016, to the point that some reviewers on this site mistake the banter for propaganda.
Let the opposition win the next election, and then we'll see who becomes the next biggest target. To be fair, the show has distributed ridicule fairly evenly. The Tory government got most of it because it was the most exposed as the party in power, it comes with the territory.
I like the last leg because it comes at you from a different perspective, that of being disabled, but not disempowered. Over the past 10+ years, Hills (and his co-hosts) have contributed to transform our perception of minorities, and they deserve credit for that.
And yes, with those achievements come the embarrassment that Adam feels he has a franchise to sing and dance. Fortunately, he does not seem to take himself too seriously. Loosen up, people, and enjoy the ride: we may as well have a little chuckle on our way to the gallows!
Josh widdicombe, Adam hills and Alex Brooker and 2 other guests create a funny atmosphere on a Friday night. It's full of witty jokes and humour and fun guests. It started off with a show on the paralympics but now it is a humorous Friday night show with hilarious moments making fun of the weeks news and taking feedback live from Twitter!
