Jinyoung brought the right amount of character to the film and a strong performance ensued - the viewer is left with a soft spot for Jin Woo who twisted the heart strings throughout Then, along came Dahyun, GG Twice Kim Dahyun, and I waited to see if another idol could make the transition (so many add nothing to this craft) well, from the start Dahyun played the reserved Sun-ah so well and immediately I only saw the character not the idol and you wish for them to find a way - great job for first film Kim Dahyun and if I was investing this actresswould have my funds 👏🏽 Five years from now a wonderful acting resume will be hers Dahyun Actress.

You Are the Apple of My Eye (2024) is a heartfelt and beautifully crafted remake that captures the magic of first love. Remakes can always be a rocky road, but Dahyun and Jinyoung hit it out of the park and add so much additional charm and joy that refreshes the amazing original story. Jinyoung and particularly Dahyun make the characters so believable that it's hard not to be completely invested in the character's storylines.

This film will have you sobbing. It would be hard to finish this film with a dry eye. But as much as the film makes you cry it will also make you laugh out loud. If you're looking for an emotional rollercoaster look no further than "You Are the Apple of My Eye"

You Are the Apple of My Eye (2024) is the kind of movie that makes you laugh, cry, and question why you're suddenly emotionally attached to two fictional people. Jinyoung perfectly nails the mischievous-yet-lovable lead, and Dahyun's acting debut is so good that you'll forget she's an idol-she's just Seon-ah through and through.

The film will have you grinning at the adorable moments, sobbing at the heartbreak, and then laughing again because life (and first love) is just that chaotic. It's like a warm hug... that occasionally punches you in the feelings. Highly recommend-just bring tissues and emotional support snacks!

One minute, you're laughing at Jinyoung's antics, the next, you're ugly crying and questioning all your life choices.

Dahyun, in her acting debut, is so good that you'll forget she's a global idol and start rooting for Seon-ah like she's your best friend. Jinyoung? Chaotic, hilarious, and heartbreakingly real. Their chemistry is so strong, it might make you jealous of fictional love stories.

This movie is a rollercoaster of emotions-except there are no seatbelts, and it definitely leaves you a little broken by the end. Highly recommend... just maybe don't watch it in public unless you're okay with strangers seeing you sob into your popcorn.
