How's the drama: Cool actors, so much thrilling and good ending. No scene that make you so angry and so sad. The story are plenty of thrilling, easy, no drama (so much talking).

From this drama i concluded: 50% Action 35% Comedy 15% Romance

The action is good. The movement, strategy (part of story), etc.

The comedy, this is i like the most. Action + comedy sometimes makes you feel disgusting right? But, here make you laugh if you get it. (old people hard to find all jokes here)

A bit romance, if you wonder how's the romance goes like other romance drama, not here.

Overall, like the first sentence i wrote. It might be 9,8 Stars for this, because some little detail on shoot are missing (like the movement, you can't realize if you focus on story).

Action, thriller, comedy, romance, mistery, high school bullying, everything in there but written with competency and beeing serious about bullying. The series is about golden bars hidden in the high school and the NIS agent (Seo Kang Joo) had to find them going undercover as a student. His teacher (Jin Ki Joo in a hilarious excelent performance) mistrust him and try to unmask him causing very funny consequences. There are three NIS agents who support Seo Kang Joo who make his mission not so easy. The villain in the series is the Principal (Kim Shin Rok who is become specialized in villain character) That is a very entertaining series and recomend it.

Korean Drama '' Undercover High School '' is a school mystery thriller with a strong comedic element.

The story is not that original, but the mystery is, and the comedy part was well handled, with enough funny scenes to lighten the mood. The mystery was also intriguing, it was well paced, and had smooth twists.

The romance, on the other hand, could have been omitted, as it didn't really add anything to the plot, and was half baked in the end, as the drama opted to focus more on the mystery, thankfully, and not on the love story.

Finally, the performances were all great by everyone in the cast.

So, overall, eight out of ten.

I have just finished ep4. The pace is fast and the story is unfolding better and better. It wouldn't be a very thrilling detective story as the plot is kind of expected at the moment. But it's an "easy-going" drama with a mix of everything: fun, romance, thriller... School bullying is a frequent element appearing in kdrama, and this one has quite a good depiction. It will make you feel lighter after watching it, or it will make your eyes filling with tears.

Plus Seo Kang Joon is my favourite actor so it's a must watch for myself!

In this era of K-dramas like "Squid Game" and "All of Us Are Dead," sometimes we just need a breather, don't we? "Undercover High School" serves that purpose beautifully. As the title suggests, it follows the story of an NIS agent who goes undercover. The series is action-packed, fun, spontaneous, and intense, while also sprinkling in humor and a touch of romance.

The acting is top-tier, and the chemistry between the leads is captivating. It has been a while since we've had characters with such distinct antagonistic roles, making it interesting to watch the events unfold. My only complaint is that it was too short-only 12 episodes, oh my gosh! The drama struggled to focus on the couples, but I still craved and enjoyed their screen time together so much! Hae-song was literally born to play this role.

I just finished the 8th episode so far its so good cant wait for the next episode. It keeps on getting better the twist and the story is really amazing, when you see a episode you are soo thrilled to watch the next episode you cant wait. Thats how this drama is. I wish this drama wins the best drama of 2025, the main lead in this drama and his acting is AMAZING he is soo good, this is the first time i see his drama and i must say i am amazed. Also the female lead is also really good. Those who chose the actors i must say they are really good. The cast, cinematography, direction, story and action was all amazing, i loved itt.

THE SUMMARY OF UNDERCOVER HIGH SCHOOL

Jeong Hae-seong, an NIS agent who was demoted after a major incident that occurred during an operation, and later he is tasked with a special mission of tracking down the whereabouts of Emperor Gojong's missing gold bars. Hae-seong hides his identity, goes undercover as a high school student at Byeongmun High School, and meets Oh Su-a, his homeroom teacher. Su-a, a devoted teacher to her students, begins to notice the similarities between Hae-seong and her childhood first love, who left her heartbroken and filled with painful memories.

OVARALL REVIEW- A must must watch kdrama, wont regret watching it.

10 all around! Has suspense, mystery, action, romance, comedy and the cutest ML who is doing a great job playing an elite agent and undercover student in an elite high school. Finally, the FL is a match for the ML (cute and an equal, confident). Great job in casting.

This series takes you on an emotional roller coaster as the ML also has his own secret mission - and that is to not fail his dad who was also an elite agent and has been missing for 20 years.

Of course the high school does have some bullying and the way the ML handles it is heart warming - great script.

One last note is that this drama is easy going and NOT too violent - very easy to watch but at the same time thrilling scenes.

Starring Seo Kang Joon and Jin Ki Joo, Undercover High School is a action drama that happens within a school, as the name suggests. With giving any spoilers, the drama starts strong, with some suspense and twists, good action and mature storytelling. The first half is engaging, although there are unserious moments at times.

While the start was strong, the second half of the show falters to some extent, as there was not much fun left to the premise. I won't say the show is skippable, but it surely doesn't have a rewatch value.

While the show is a mystery-spy themed, the drama also focuses on tougher subjects like school bullying, student hierarchies, and the politics which govern the lives of both students and teachers.

A little romance with comedy elements in regular intervals somehow keeps the drama balanced. Maybe not strongly recommended as there are better dramas in this genre, but Undercover High School is a fun and watchable drama that does silly and clever things simultaneously.

I'm so so sad that this show is j 12 eps, it deserves 20 eps. I finished this show a week ago and i already have the urge to rewatch it again.

The story line, the dialogues and delivering chaotic energy in such a non-cringe and natural way i loveeed it istg. So so so good. I love chaotic shows and the element of the NIS agent to this show j makes it sm hotter for me alr istg.

I had actually never heard of seo kang joon before, but brothers and sisters i am already obessed w this man. He is so underrated i don't get why. His acting is so so so natural loved it. His character was so manly but pookie which is absolutely loved. What i love the most is eyes istg. The most beautiful eyes i have ever seen on a man to date, im not even kidding.

Jin ki joo, i love her too. Her character was so cute, i wanted to keep her in my pocket literally. Even she herself as an actress phenomenal and again so underrated.

The chemistry between jeong hae-seong and oh su-a was insane. Believe me when i tell you even their hands had chemistry.

Love this show, lowkey wanna lose all my memories and watch this masterpiece again.

The drama is like coffee with sugar and salt.

Main character is a true green flag, sweet caring, responsible, good older brother, good friend, good son, good agent, good person. In contrast the villain of the story is over the top sinister but in a super annoying way. Like the bad deeds don´t compare that the laughter and the mannerisms are sleazy, gross and get on your nerves.

But the show makes up for it with the school dynamics and is beautifully shot, the leads have piles of chemistry etc.

No one outside of Korea will ever understand why koreans would be so obsessed with their full time job dreams and being so dedicated tho. No need to stress it this much.

I am really sorry Seo Kang Joon! I used to kind of look down on you *embarrassed* You show a lot of heart and are much better actor than I gave you credit for. *hides* sry...!

Seo kang jun, you are an amazing and cool actor. Really appreciate your way of acting and how you contributed as far as now. So excited to see you after your long break. Please continue your career again do not stop doing what you're good. Thank you for everyone and the director and the crew who chose these amazing characters. Best of luck for everyone. It's been a while since a series hooked me this much. I've been eagerly waiting each week for new episodes and didn't feel disappointed even once.

Great blend of different genres - action, adventure, comedy, romance and all of them so well written. Jin Ki-joo and Seo Kang-joon truly brought their characters to life and their chemistry is of the charts.

There is many kdrama cliches in the story which I often find bothersome but they are so well introduced that felt very natural.

The main story is fast paced and I wish there was more time to dive into some dinamics between characters or side stories but I guess it was impossible with 12 ep.

Overall a must watch!

Really disapponting - cheap, naive jokes ruining any remnats of action and thrills.

The whole thing - syrupy music, bad acting, moronic plot, cheesy romance - makes me hesitant to watch more K-dramas.

To make things worse, the main female character is presented as half-witted moron, maybe because of her binging on alcohol.

This is not the first K-Drama ruined by such traits (example: "Vincenzo"), and one cannot go by ratings, scores etc., as there's enough happy clappers to throw it out of reality.

Just look at at all 10/10s here, but maybe these people really liked it? 🤔

Halfway through, we found ourselves just waiting for the show to finally be over. It felt like a waste of time, but I'm the kind of person who needs to finish what I've started, even if I'm not enjoying it. The acting was average at best-nothing special or memorable.

There was far too much unnecessary drama, the supposed comedy didn't land at all, and the ending was painfully predictable. We honestly don't understand how this show has such high ratings. Maybe it's appealing to people who haven't seen many shows before or are watching a Korean drama for the first time.

So save your time or do not expect too much!! Don't believe the hype!!

A great blend of spy action school injustice and comedy and drama and cute romance. Great comeback for Seo Kang Joon. He is good a comedy and has the personality for the role with the right swagger and attitude. Ji Kin Joo is cute and sweet without being annoying or too self righteous and quite suited to her comic role. The villains look quite their parts and the chairwoman's daughter is quite good in her conflicted role.

The soundtrack is fun and suitable for what is going on from the nostalgic romantic song to the Mission Impossible like theme when they are investigating the urban legends clues and seeking the gold treasure. Hope k dramas in the future can have this kind of light hearted comic adventure tone.

Wow I loved this series alongside with buried hearts two series are very good and yes everything is so perfect all the stories, scenes I really am enjoying it like all the characters actress is so cute and the main villain I really like her acting skills she really portraits the mad women role in a smooth way I saw her in sweet home too wow she really has the talent I love to see her more playing the top class villain. And over all wah a superclass series that makes our time fun and entertaining and enjoyable and I think it's the comeback of the main lead actor hope to see more from all the characters.

This is so excellent in so many ways, it is hard to know where to begin. Seo Kang-joon is an incredible actor, simply a complete delight to watch. I am so sorry that it ever has to end. I can say the excitement and cool in the first episode is maintained throughout . It's kind of Jason Bourne meets Mission Impossible meets a very good comedy like, maybe, The Italian Job, but it's better than all those. Kang-joon has it over Jason Bourne (and I must say, even Healer) , super cool, super funny, super handsome. Where did the 'boy' from "When the Weather is Fine", go? We want to see more and more of this stunning actor who really is up there with the greats, in my opinion, for his charm, wit, charisma, athletic ability and uber coolness. His body language, his " swagger", his facial expressions and overall command of the role is amazing. This drama has everything, including an outstanding soundtrack that signals now's the time to tense up, now's the time to melt your heart. It is basically a comedic, light-hearted "thriller" which is really so enjoyably entertaining for these times. The fact it does not take itself too seriously is it's best asset. For that, the FL, Jin-Ki-Joo plays her role perfectly with great nuance: sweet,tough; shy, bold; clueless, clever. All the actors, students, the NSI agents are terrific. It's quite a talent to play a posh, spoiled, idle brat or diva or bully, and the guy who is bullied is excellent too. As the tension hypes up, a big shout out is due for one of the best villains I have seen out of nearly 100 k-dramas, the Chairwoman, played by Kim Shin-rock. She makes your blood run cold; it takes brilliance to play the villain. Feel gratitude for the k-drama industry that has saved us from the banality of Western entertainment that has more action than acting, more fantasy and sci-fi than actual depth. Hollywood has fooled us for so long. Korea doesn't need it, though I am sure there is many a seasoned k-actor who would like to hold that gold statue. Yet the quality of k-drama writing, producing and acting is off the charts. With only 2 episodes to go, it looks very likely this finale will be perfection. Bravo to the entire Undercover team and for the genius who cast, and directed the likeable Seo Kang-joon to carry the show. We know it takes a village to produce a k-drama.

With a strong start, I was really looking forward to watching a short action show with some crime elements. Although I liked the characters, and most of the important ones do have some good backstories and/or character development, some parts of the story don't make much sense. There are unexplained plot holes, and personally, I like the main leads to be very smart, but the suspense was good enough to keep watching. Setting and cinematography are catchy enough. If you want to watch the series for the love story: don't. It's nice, but subtle with nothing much to it.

"Undercover High School" is not the most engaging show out there, but with only 12 episodes, it's a decent enough watch for a rainy weekend.
