Thank You, Dr. Crane

The episode I've been waiting for all season, and it just falls flat. As a huge fan of Cheers and Frasier, I didn't appreciate Frasier trash-talking his old stomping ground. The original series had a panel of writers; get someone who knows what they're doing. I set the bar really low going into this, but you couldn't pay me to watch this episode again. I was shaking my head the whole time-cringy and boring. Go Bulldog! The only thing I enjoyed from the episode. I'm left speechless and disappointed. I'm frustrated beyond belief because I had high hopes for this series. Surely, something can be done.

I could not tolerate watching references (Bulldog, McGinty's) were subjected to cheap jokes and destroyed. They must leave the original characters and places alone, if they cannot maintain the quality. This episode is, without any doubt, the lowest episode yet. I still treasure and re-watch Frasier original series regularly. I did notice the new Frasier lacked in quality, but never imagined they would malign iconic memories of a classic sitcom. I truly wish they would not dare to bring other characters like Niles or Daphne with a sick script. The good thing is that Alan and Olivia are outshining Frasier.

I waited so long for this episode and finally watched it! Both Cheers and Frasier are in my top 10 shows of all time, even after watching over 100 TV shows, and this episode reminded me why I loved the original Frasier series. If only Niles and Daphne had been in this episode-it would have been so much better! I'm glad they could bring back Bulldog and Gil, and I'm super happy that Roz is making more appearances in season 2. Seeing Bebe again in an earlier episode was nice, too. I think they really listened to the feedback on season 1 and improved the show. So far, episode 4 is my favorite, and I hope the remaining two episodes are good, and the show gets renewed for season 3. Season 1 was a bit average, but now I look forward to each episode every week and hope it lasts as long as the original Frasier and Cheers!

This is a bittersweet episode. The familiar is what's been missing from this reboot. The only bad part of this episode is when they'd jump back to Boston, to characters who I personally have no connection of even a want for a connection to. I would love for Frasier to move back to Seattle and reclaim his place on the radio. Frasier is about giving advice to his listeners that also reflect his own troubles in that episode, that's what is missing from the new series. Instead, they add in a bunch of characters that are played by actors who seem to be very basic and not interested in being that character they play.
