"Don't hang up" is a great example of innovation that doesn't always work out. The FaceTime format creates for an intimate and helpless feel, but also a lot of drawbacks. First and foremost is the classical but also annoying horror-movie-feeling that the characters are making stupid choices all throughout. This is elevated knowing that there is a connection out of the house and therefore someone that is able to get help but doesn't. The little man sitting in the corner of the screen is supricingly not as disturbing as you might think in the start of the movie. The movie does achieve the scariness that is often the bedrock criteria for these movies, but a lot of it is lost in what I describe as a rushed and underplayed ending. To summarise, Alex Herron and his team has achieved a scary and innovating piece about an often overlooked historical event, sadly the same innovation seems to have crippled the movie in some central aspects. Exited to see more of this style and more innovation from Alex Herron.
The movie was amusing and became hard to watch, the plot was horrible the acting felt forced and horrendous. The movie went from scary movie to comedy movie in two seconds.
The first part of the movie was alright with all their glitchy effects and "bad internet" effects, but did not make up for their bad plot and uniqueness. It was truly something funny to watch in the movies.
It is really only recommended to watch if you plan to go with your friends or family just to ahit talk this movie and laugh about. It is not a good horror or thriller movie, and would rather spend my bucks on another movie airing.

The story behind this movie was really weak. Every film has its share of nonsense, but usually, there's at least some underlying logic. In this one, however, you'd have to be a complete fool to go along with it. The plot is so poorly constructed that it makes the viewer feel outright stupid.
The characters and dialogue don't help either. The acting feels forced, and the script is filled with awkward lines that make it hard to take anything seriously. Instead of being entertaining, the movie just ends up feeling lazy and poorly thought out.
That said, if you're looking for something to laugh at with a friend and make fun of how ridiculous it is, it might be worth a watch. Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend it at all.

While i can appreciate the idea in this movie, the execution is horrible. The whole point of this movie is to take viewers through a horror experience happening on facetime, though it just felt pointless. The dialogue feels forced, acting is underwhelming and the story is really bland. If this was a comedy/horror, i would have given it a pass, but this feels like it was made with serious intent. Everything that happens in this film is explained to you like a 5 year old and it makes you feel really stupid. The scariest thing about this movie, is that i payed to see it. If you want a corny bac classic horror movie, it wouldn't hurt you to watch it. Otherwise, just dont bother.
This horror film blends the real-life tragedy of the 1921 Tulsa massacre with chilling supernatural terror, crafting a tense, atmospheric experience. Strong performances and unsettling moments keep the suspense alive throughout. It effectively weaves social commentary into its scares. A worthwhile watch for fans of psychological and historical horror who appreciate films that combine haunting stories with deeper, thought-provoking themes. Go see this film in the theater!!! Go see it at a festival!! It's worth it for sure. Don't suggest taking kids or older parents, they may not like the subject/sfx.
