Denise Richard's is the clear star and is the focal point of essentially every episode as she should be, while at times her daughters Sami and Lola have brief subplots throughout.
One episode to start revolves around the two daughters trying to rekindle their relationship (which felt slightly forced for tv) while another episode dealt with Sami getting nose surgery. Also her husband Aaron is one of the standouts and he seems supportive of whatever Denise does and he occasionally has a good calming presence.
Perhaps the last four episodes were better than the first four considering Denise was more so the focus, including an episode where she stars in a music video from one of her ex boyfriend's, then there's an episode where Charlie Sheen makes a brief appearance with him, her and Lola are eating at a restaurant. The finale was decent as well showing the daughters making up.
Overall the show has its moments, the comedy is what you'd expect from a reality mini series. The show never borders on too dramatic or too over the top. Many people may complain as to how shallow or superficial they are but it all seems quite genuine.
Looking at the previous reviewers and the dates of their reviews, it's clear they did not watch the entire series- as the final episodes had not been released at the time of their review (so they are roughly judging off of the first four episodes, perhaps less).
Closing, if you are a fan of Denise Richard's, it's worthy to check out. It's a very brief mini series, only 8 episodes each being under 22 minutes long (having finished the series in its entirety in one day). Due to quite poor ratings, we wonder if there will be a second season.

The TV show we've been needing so lighthearted and silly. It's refreshing to see of reality TV show that shows the positive quirky silly side of a family dynamic. All caught up and can't wait for each week to release new episodes. Hope we get years of seasons and get to see Lola and Sami grow up into their individual personalities. Also appreciate Aaron and Denise's relationship and that he embraces her dynamic career and sexuality. I also loved seeing Tori spelling on the screen! She should be on more! Also another great reality tv personality to watch and has a great personality. My best friend and I both now agree, Denise for President lol.
It's interesting, to say the least. Her daughters are indeed the stars of the show! Sami radiates beauty, while Lola is an effervescent spark, lighting up every scene they share. I adore their playful antics and the charming chemistry they bring to the screen. It takes me back to when I watched Denise's reality show in its early days, capturing those precious moments of the girls growing up. Witnessing their journey has been both heartwarming and entertaining! I can't wait to see more of Brooke, her delightful sons, and maybe even a surprise appearance from Charlie Sheen! Eloise is adorable, too.
So far, the show is pretty fun, Denise is way more likable than on RHOBH. Not that hard without pretending to be friends with some unknown women.
Her family is fun too, Sami is a truly the wild thing (the OF model who likes to party) from the title while Lola is more reserved (and also very religious which makes her look odd sometimes).
I liked guests seeing famous faces as guest like Tori Spelling, Camille Grammer and Brooke Mueller.
Can't wait to see more housewives and THEE Charlie Sheen.
And please don't bother reading the comments about Denise's face, some people hate seeing women age. It's just reality tv, 20mn of fun, nothing more.

I love reality tv, so I assumed I'd probably enjoy this show. There were a few reasons (all revolving around Denise Richards) that I thought I might not like it as much, but none of those included her daughters. Granted, I had no knowledge of who her daughters were prior to viewing this series, so I went in with fresh eyes as it pertains to Sami, Lola and Eloise. Eloise is a doll, which is all I will say about her. Sami, however, spends the entire series stomping on her younger sister, Lola. I had to turn it off after just two episodes because it was too much for me to watch. I don't want to sit by and watch a young girl be treated like that. It's actually disgusting behavior, no matter the age of the older sister.
Sami, if you ever see this, seriously consider the way you treat that girl.
And Lola, if you ever see this, stop letting her treat you like that. She won't stop until you stand up for yourself or cut her off completely. Family should not be your biggest bully.
