Caça Mortal

No pun intended - you got one shot, one ... well I am more of the you have more than one shot! You might have to reload, but that is a different story! Also you may have to aim at something different (not necessarily higher ... too many puns you say? Well no intended as always).

An inciting incident - one that I think you can tell is coming from a mile away (or however much it may be). The actors are good - their relationships to each other ... front and back (ok that may have been intended) is quite suspenseful to watch! For some it may be a bit too much too. There is some nudity and some violence - sometimes both together. This is not always here to care for your emotions ... or those of the characters ... who will care for who and what will it make of and for them? Exactly ...

This film from central Europe is certainly interesting and well directed, with fabulous locations of the Carpathians mountains. It could have used DELIVERANCE, STRAW DOGS or even MOST DANGEROUS GAME, very easily with such settingsd especially characters, rednecks characters. At first that's what I thought, that seemed exciting. But instead of that, we find some kind of thriller drama, a blackmail within blackmail topic, a bit complex, but not uninteresting however. This is a very hard to find film and worth watching, not a crap straight to DVD. I am sure there are many of this kind remaining in vaults or distributors warehouses. From time to time, it's good to watch them.
