I like the drama of Kimsohyun from 2021 when I was only 17 years old. Just watched School 2015 and fell in love with her from that time... Now, She is doing Ji Han-Na role and I loving it... Because it is the first time where she is portraying Action Hero + Romance Lead lady... It is amazing... Can't believe she is only 26 years old. 😢... Her others Notable work like:
1. River where the moon rises
2. School 2015
3. Pure love / Unforgettable
4. Bring it on, Ghost
5. Love alarm Season 1
Parkbogum, I don't have words to praise your acting.. just want to say, Thank you for exist.

Starring Park Bo Gum and Kim So Hyun, Good Boy is a story of group of Olympic players, who are now part of police force through a special recruitment program.
The drama is a blend of humour, action and romance. A group of police force forms a unit to catch a criminal mastermind that has every person under his control. The cast and the premise is promising, however with some flaws.
The premise is well-built but the episodes felt too stretched out, the characters are well written but feels one dimensional at times. The action choreography is very good and keeps you hooked to the screen. Oh Jung Se as the antagonist is the show stealer. His facial expressions and dialogue delivery was commendable. The romance scenes between the ML and FL were a little more than required. The production is good and many scenes are creatively shot.
The plot is fairly straightforward. Money + Greed = Corruption. Crime pays -> do more crime. Our team are earnest but they are mostly incidental heroes. The police is inept most of the time and is always one step behind. Hence the need for our Band of Misfits.
Overall, Good Boy is a good cop action drama that blends action and humour. Although it's far away from being a great show, it's a fun-to-watch drama that will entertain you for sure.
My Rating : 7.5/10.

Good Boy isn't about winning, it's about surviving the cost of chasing greatness with a kind heart. A critique to corrupted sportsmanship camouflaged in an action drama. Instead of romanticizing the Olympic dream, it shows us what's left behind: broken bodies and fragile egos.
Dong-joo isn't fighting for medals, he's fighting for the right to still be soft in a system that threads him to behave like a "Good boy": being silent, enduring pain, and never asking for more.
All the aspects of the shows were well realized, the action scenes were fire, the writing was amazing as well as the editing. The squad was such a vibe! Each member brought their own unique energy. Their awkward jokes, fierce loyalty, and those moments of genuine care made the whole team feel real and relatable. It's the perfect mix of humor, heart, and badass action.
The relationship between Ji Han-na and Dong-ju is so well done. It's not about romance, but deep respect and unspoken understanding. Those subtle moments between them carry so much emotion. Definitely one of the strongest parts of Good Boy. One of my fav k-drama couples, so cute.
So, Good Boy, it's a story about reclaiming self-worth in a world that only sees value in victory. And that's what makes it unforgettable.

Good Boy (2025) is a gripping and emotionally layered series that blends mystery, drama, and psychological depth. With strong performances and clever storytelling, it keeps you hooked without relying on cheap twists.
The pacing is tight, the characters are compelling, and the mood is consistently intense. It's a dark, thoughtful ride that leaves a lasting impression.

After watching the first four episodes, the versatility that Park Bo Gum has portrayed in his acting is exemplary. I am in awe to see him in this action-packed role in Good Boy with his hardened gaze, unlike the ones filled with his doe-like, love-filled eyes. No doubt he is the prince of romantic dramas, but his performance in this action series is a brilliant display of his talent. The stark contrast that his character, Yoon Dong Ju, conveyed while punching the hell out of the bad guys and the way he is totally whipped for Ji Han Na, is one of the many Maeryok (charming) points of Park Bo Gum in this series.
The variety and growth he has shown in his recent drama picks like When Life gives you tangerines and Good Boy, have filled my heart with immense satisfaction and pride. I remember in Record of Youth, one of his previous dramas, particularly at the ending of episode 4, a scene of him as a villain and beating up the guys. I was amazed to see the change in his expression (from all smiles to badass villain) and the way he handled that scene was flawless and very impactful. I wanted to see him more in such a character (something intense and fierce). This series actually fulfills it and even exceeds it. I hope the story line remains as strong as it is now. I loved the other characters too. However, this review is only for Park Bo Gum. Couldn't resist writing it!

- CuriosidadesThe series was Park Bo-gum's first foray in the action genre; he had six months of intense training - including an hour of strength workouts and two hours of daily boxing practice to play his character Yoon Dong-ju. He also learned movements by working with a boxer from Uzbekistan.
