That's not to say that some laughs can't be had because clearly it's a spoof. In each episode there's one proper actor and some friends of the writer/director/cameraman who turned up willing to learn some lines. Some of these people are liked by the camera.

I'm not sure what the limit of the makers' ambition was but getting on the featured page of Prime may've surpassed it. Unsuspecting browsers will likely be surprised and incredulous.

Scary Tales is marketed as new but has a vintage (dated) 'Tales of the Unexpected' treatment; therefore the terrible sound, retro photography, no special effects to speak of somehow make the plot and acting more bearable.

Would recommend watching with a bunch of friends under the influence.

Bad writing, bad acting, bad plot, bad directing, bad camera, & bad sound. Coulda lived my whole life without watching the first of this series, Blind Date.

I'm sure it was so bad due to a very, Very low budget. And I feel for this kind of amateurish production: I've been in theatre most of my life and this reminded me of some of the bleaker community theatre productions I've encountered. But at least those had good scripts and decent actors.

This wasn't even so bad so as to become a parody of itself. Please, for the sake of your soul, your sanity, your sanctity, please abstain from watching this.

That typed, I sincerely hope all the folks involved in this endeavor improve and have successful futures.

I did rate this 1 out of 10, but as I watched every episode I realized it's so bad that it's awesome! The script the acting the dialogue and the cliche one liners are awful but it so funny. Oh and the abrupt nonsensical ending, I mean who writes this stuff and says yes that's the ending I want! I mean nothing makes sense but it's so comical. I really want there to be a second season. I'm not sure what the best episode but there all similar with unusual plot that goes no where, it's very low budget but hey it made it to streaming services so they did something right. Just check it out some will hate but you also get a good laugh.

Its so funny. Everything about this is so astronomically terrible its so entertaining. The editing, the stock music, the bad acting, the insane plots and twists which make 0 sense. I could say "the pacing is poor" or "the sound is iffy" but those just aren't as funny. This show is hilarious. The metal music that plays at the end always catches u off guard. Everything catches you off guard. You think it can't get anymore cliche or stupid and it does. I literally can't tell if its satire or not. I thought it was until one episode was kind of decent? Watch this with a group and lose your minds. (Kinda drops off eventually. Plots get boring).
