It's been a while since I watched such raw comedy on a scripted tv show. The series opens up with the character Oscar, played by Michael James, a homeless guy searching for a better way of living. He fakes his way into Clover Hill group home where he meets his newfound family and together they go on an adventure to save their group home from being taken by the state due to unpaid property taxes. It's a great storyline, cinematic, and raw humour. It's a diverse cast, making it appealing to a larger demographic. The characters were believable and the plot twist was great. The only issue was some of the audio was a bit pitchy in certain scenes but it didn't take away from the viewing experience because of all the wild antics, and comedic moments. A great watch for the weekend. If you enjoy films like Friday, American Pie, Blues Brothers, and The Hangover you would absolutely like this. The five episodes are approximately 30-45 minutes. So, gather your family or friends together and make a watch party of this comical mini series. Independent filmmaking at its best. Loved it!!!
