A estação das garotas perdidas

I was so into this series. I binged watched it. This series is so good. It's managed in such an awesome way to portray all the people involved in this case, the struggles in the families and in the police, and their feelings. All the actors are brilliant. It's such a shame that this miniseries is not that well known for what it is.

Much better from what i except forget about all the bad reviews this french true crime 6 episodes series is just amazing the cast the directing and every details the story will touch your feelings much better then other series that getting high rated i can say it's the best french series ever done till now.

As Episode 1 of "The Lost Station Girls" (2025 release; 6 episodes ranging from 43 to 51 minutes) opens, we are in "Perpignan 1995" and a young woman arrives by train at the train station. Upon leaving the station, she becomes disappeared. In a separate plot line, we are introduced to Flore Robin, a rookie detective who is assigned her first murder case... At this point we are 10 minutes into Episode 1.

Couple of comments: I admit that I was unfamiliar with both the facts and the cast for this true crime mini-series. I was very open minded when I started watching this, but started to get a little twitchy into Episode 2, as literally little was happening. The events are spread out over a16 year period, but somehow the actress playing Flore doesn't age at all. Things get kicking into high gear in the 5th episode, only to get paused into the 6th and final episode. An anti-climax if I ever saw one. Bottom line is that this mini-series was very uneven throughout.

"The Lost Station Girls" started airing last month on Disney+ and on Hulu, where I caught it over the last couple of evenings. If you are in the mood for a true crime mini-series "a la francaise", I'd readily suggest you check it out and draw your own conclusion.
