I love this game, i played it a long time ago.
RuneScape, sometimes referred to as RuneScape 3, is a fantasy massively multiplayer online role-playing game developed and published by Jagex, first released in January 2001.
After a long day at work, or in the garden, I love to sit down and just relax with my friends on RuneScape. The game can get very addicting, as with any MMO, but people spend a lot time getting their skills to 99 and it can eat away at your time. A lot of people would say the "point" of the game would be to get all your skills to 99 (120 for dungeoneering), but there's tons to do: quest, boss, merch, explore, mini-games, PvP, and lots of other awesome things.
One of the most interesting aspects of RuneScape is that it is a browser-based game. So you can play it almost anywhere. However, with laptops and mobile gaming on the rise, this doesn't have as much appeal as it would have ten years ago. This aspect is often quoted as being the best part of RuneScape, but--like I said--with mobile gaming on the rise it's not as amazing as it was.
RuneScape has no classes, you can swap freely from ranger to mage to warrior. You could even try some hybrid of these, if you want. I really enjoy that I can focus on one character and not have to make another character I wanted to try out a mage, I can just equip some mage gear and be on my way.
RuneScape is frequently updated with new content and interesting things to do, now with the new polling system, a lot of player-wanted content. I enjoy that RuneScape has weekly updates, a lot of other MMOs I have played only roll out updates once a month, but Jagex keeps everyone informed on what they're doing and what they're currently working on through a ton of social media websites; my favorite being Reddit.
The skills are what truly make the game interesting, each of them have their set purpose, based on what you want to do. Make money? Kill some stuff? Make cool things? The skills are varied and each has their own interesting and unique ways to train them. Most of the skills have fun mini-games if you get bored training in the traditional methods to just have some fun.
There's probably a lot of stuff I have missed, but there's no download so just go check it out! :]

This game is just pure nostalgia for me. My cousins introduced this MMORPG to me when I was around 12 or so. This was before I really played online games, let alone games on the PC. Slowly but surely, I started learning the ropes; upgrading each of my abilities, making friends, and completing quests. For years, I played mostly by myself trying to get my level high enough so I could equip high-level armor/weapons, while also making quite a bit of coin killing giants and selling their bones,. In the end, I was guilable (and I guess you could say dumb) and gave someone all of my coins because they were at the Grand Exchange promoting that they could "double your coin". Soooo I gave them probably close to 100k (damn near all of my coins I had) and the mf logged off instantly as soon as I gave it to him. Ever since then, I haven't really came back to the game. I would go on around Halloween or Christmas time every two years or so to experience the vibes and participate in the seasonal events, but I never got the same feeling I used to get from the game. I never really continued any more story, and stopped pursuing the goals I set. My hope and passion for the game was lost, I guess you could say. All in all, I had a lot of great memories, and I'm glad I played the game. I just don't see myself ever playing this or any MMO for that matter ever again.
This game is really addicting and I love it. I love games that make you spend so much time to do just a couple things and this is one of them. It is so fun and it almost took my interest of movies away from me, which I don't really like but I can still watch a bunch of movies and play this at the same time luckily.
This game is very addicting, I started in 2005 and I still can't leave it, so don't start playing if you get addicted easily. People say if someone starts playing this game, a person never quits, he returns to this game again and again.
This is one of a few games which I have played for my whole life, so I gave it 10. Also, Runescape 3 Html has one of the best graphics I've ever seen... I can play BF4 on 20fps, but I get only 7 Fps on Rs3. You need an extremely good graphics card to play Html version of the game.
Also this game takes a lot of time to finish. I got all skills to max level in 8-9 years of playing.
In conclusion I would like to say that you should try this game, but don't get addicted. Usually that happens in like a month or two. Also try not buying a lot of gold, or cosmetic items, because if you do, then this game will take too much money..
