This had the potential to be something great. Its story is actually engaging, with solid world-building and an interesting premise. Unfortunately, everything else drags it down.
The acting is wooden and unconvincing, making it hard to connect with the characters. The dialogue feels unnatural, as if the script was written in a rush without a second draft. And the directing? A complete mess. Scenes feel disjointed, pacing is all over the place, and emotional moments fall flat because of poor execution.
It's frustrating because there's a good story buried underneath all these flaws. If only it had been handled by a more capable team, this could have been a fantastic film. Instead, it ends up as a disappointment.

I watched like 20 minutes of it, enough to find everything: budget, story, characters, dialogue, fighting, acting, direction to be terrible. I mean, the starting scene is a woman carrying a child in slow motion and monologuing using words like "math". She's supposed to be a medieval outlaw.
I actually wanted to see this because Kevin Sorbo and orcs, I thought it was another Arrowstorm Entertainment production, but it's another entertainment's and it's not good at all.
What really spooked me is that really good veteran actors were doing so poorly: James Cosmo, Angus MacFayden, even Kevin Sorbo, even if he mostly plays himself at all times. The moment they introduced a small girl that couldn't act if her life depended on it, I turned it off.

The Last Redemption directed by the talented John Real, is a cinematic work that captures the imagination and hearts of viewers through a combination of adventure, emotion, and a top-notch cast. With actors of the caliber of Kevin Sorbo, Natalie Burn, James Cosmo, Angus McFadyen, and Neb Chupin, the film delivers a powerful and engaging narrative. The plot follows the adventures of Diana (Natalie Burn), a strong and daring outlaw who stands against the tyrant Lord Roland (Kevin Sorbo), whose lust for power threatens to destroy the peace in the kingdom of Brea. Each actor brings a unique energy to the film, enriching the storyline with memorable performances.
James Cosmo, playing a wise mentor, provides a sense of depth and wisdom to the narrative, while John Real portrays a respected warrior who joins Diana's cause. Angus McFadyen, in his role, adds touches of humor and humanity, balancing the dramatic tensions of the film and making the calmer moments even more impactful. John Real's direction is another strong point of the film. I don't understand how they could ruin a film like this. The story had huge potential, with breathtaking landscapes and a stunning male lead who holds the screen effortlessly. But unfortunately, the female counterpart is a disaster: she has a face that looks like a horse, and in some scenes, she even resembles a man! Unbelievable! Zero femininity! Such a shame, because the chemistry between the two could have worked, but she's as wooden as they come. This completely undermines the emotional tension of the film.
The movie still remains visually captivating, with some well-shot action sequences and a finale that tries to redeem the story. But overall, it leaves a bitter taste for what it could have been but wasn't.
