Bharathanatyam

The movie was just fine. Nothing more nothing less. The story was alright and the tone of the characters were a bit polished and that's what I liked the most in this film. Saiju Kurup has done a good job and I think the movie will get more popularity in the coming years due to its theme.

All the supporting actors has done a great job. The production design is another highlight of this film. While the film had some comedy moments, it wouldn't be accurate to label it purely as a comedy film.

Promotions are very less when it comes to movies like this and I assume that's due to the budget constraints. It's high time to focus on promotions when it comes to theatre runs otherwise it's going to be a failure in the box office.

Underneath the quirky comedy peppered all around Bharathanatyam (a classical dance form) lies a life lesson that is summarised by the central character Bharathan as he sits torn in the chaos of his poor life decisions. I found some novelty in how Bharathanatyam presents the conflict, mostly from the perspective of those that are affected the most. While there are lot of convenient plot points here, the film redeems itself by not siding with certain characters and puts the onus on the viewers to judge. It also shows the duality of man very effectively. There's a lot to like in Bharathanatyam than there is to dislike, making this one worth a watch.

A light hearted fun family drama with hilarious moments.

The plot of the story revolves around a house and its inhabitants and the funny situations and events the people in the house face when two uninvited and unexpected guests join them over certain family circumstances.

Good screenplay by Krishnadas Murali for keeping the audience completely engaged and giving light laughter moments in the movie. Director has given thrust on relationship in the story with a good message in the tail end leaving the audience with happy tears.

Subtle delivery by Saikumar,Kalaranjini,Saiju Kurup & Sreeja Ravi in the movie. Other notable performances were Abhiram Radhakrishnan,Nandu Poduval,Sruthy Suresh & Divya M Nair.

Hats off to Saiju Kurup & Anupama for bringing a good movie through their debut production. Brilliant execution of the story by Krishnadas Murali without losing the essence of the story.

Bharatanatyam is a good fun to watch entertainer for family to begin with in this season of joy,colours & togetherness.

I went to the movie with no expectations as there were only a limited number of reviews available. The movie started slowly and I thought it is going to be a tragedy movie. But after 15-20 minutes, the movie took off. The comedy was clean and refreshing. All the characters did well. The bonding of the family was well represented. No unnecessary songs were there. The only scene which irritated me the most was when the nurse ate pappadam of Sai Kumar. I mean... Which hospital allows nurses to eat the leftovers from a patient's plate ? It seemed totally illogical to me. Other than that the movie was pretty decent. But it was sad to see that public was not much aware about the movie. I think marketing should have been done better because this movie totally deserves applause. I hope Saiju Kurup productions will create many more amazing movies in the future.
