This documentary captures the heartless and psychopathic face of hate and evil that exists in the world. Survivors of the terrorist attack narrate the live footage taken at the festival. Front and center, from start to finish, you, the viewer, are there at the festival experiencing the horror, pain, suffering, confusion, and witness the senseless brutality and execution of innocent people. You experience every moment of pure grief, shock, and fear. You will be breathless, angry, terrified, and possibly cry. We must all decide who we are as individuals, the choices we make, and how we treat our fellow humans. Always choose kindness, love, and unity.
It is one of the most haunting yet essential documentaries I've seen in a long time. It doesn't just tell the story of the brutal massacre it really puts you in the shoes of the survivors, the families, and the community that was shattered by the terror of October 7.
The way the documentary handles the trauma especially the horrifying accounts of violence against women is raw. It's not sensationalized, but it is disturbing, as it should be. These stories need to be told, and this film does so with courage and clarity.
I walked away with tears, anger, but also deep respect for the resilience of the people and the message of defiance in the face of hate: "We will dance again."
Please watch it, even if it's hard. Especially because it's hard.

Heartbreaking, breathtaking. Unbelievable.
A must watch.
The movie manages to capture the pure horror, the fear, the moments of despare, along with fragile hope.
The production of the movie did an amazing job. This documentation is crucial. Through this documentary, the people who were silenced forever by the cruel hands of terrorist, will be able to scream forever as a reminder for the lives that once were, for the joy and the love that were brutally taken away, making our world a darker place.
May the hostages return to their homes, the living to rehabilitation and the ones who have passed to a proper berial.
May they rest in peace, and may their families find some comfort.

This film is almost the first evidence about the October 7th massacre . I thought not to watch
it following my visit to the exhibition which which was so painful I couldn't stop crying., but I had to see it to have all the brutal horrific details in order to dispel the lies and claims of conspiracy.
Some responders claim that the film was one sided, so I need to ask them if also the Holocaust should be presented from the Nazi angle?
Despite the fact that the editing wasn't perfect, especially because the goal was to include as many recordings made by survivors as possible, I am sure that there was no one who watched it and didn't have tears in the eyes, and didn't understand that they are watching one of the worst most evil events in world history! All this despite the utmost attention by the producers to avoid causing more pain to the families of the murdered, raped, and tortured, as well as to the entire population of Israel, traumatized by the events.
I cried and I am crying now too for the 101 hopefully alive hostages who were dragged by the terrorists to their tunnels in Gaza and are undergoing there impossible suffering during more than a year.
This documentary should be viewed by everyone and everywhere, especially by educators, professionals that work with people, students and heads of faculties at the universities, influencers and policemen, because they must understand why they have to do their job with a clear view of what is acceptable and what is simply inhuman evil!

This is a documentary of real footage from the Nova Music Festival massacre on October 7, 2023. It includes video clips from survivors and actual footage from the Hamas terrorists.
It's difficult to watch. At first, none of the party goers took the rockets or gunfire that seriously. The Gazans have been attacking Israelis in one way or another for many years, either by knifings, car rammings, shootings, or rocket fire, thanks to the Pay for Slay program run by the PA which pays Gazans and their families to kill Jews. It took a while for anyone to realize that this was not just another attack - this was extremely serious!
Its main focus was on the Nova Music Festival. It was harrowing to see how thousands of young people - who were taken completely off guard at a music festival - had to run and fight for their lives. It showed Shani Louk's body in the back of the truck while the Gazans joyfully cheered and we don't know if she was alive or dead at that point. Thankfully it didn't show Naama Levy who had blood on the back of her pants and her Achilles tendons slit so she couldn't run. I really didn't want to see that again. It only briefly touched on the murders and kidnappings at the Kibbutzim.
It does go into how the survivors have coped this past year. It was a difficult, but important, watch. It's new and it's streaming on Paramount+ if anyone is interested in seeing it.

- CuriosidadesWhen the documentary aired on the BBC 26 September 2024, the network demanded all uses of the words "terrorist" or "terrorism" in reference to Hamas be removed for fear that it could upset or disturb supporters of Palestinian liberation, despite the government of the United Kingdom listing Hamas as a "proscribed terrorist group."
