Traditionally, both the Alien and Predator films take place in the same universe. Ever since a Xenomorph skull was seen in the trophy room in Predator 2. The AvP films are said to be in a separate continuity, but The Predator (2018) have confirmed them to be in the same continuity as the rest of the films. Likewise, Prometheus and Alien: Covenant were said to disregard the AvP films, but there's nothing to directly contradict them. So to keep things simple, yes they are all in the same universe.
This is currently unclear. It appears to take place around the time of Aliens (2179) due to the Weyland-Yutani synths being present.
However, Dan Trachtenberg recently said in an interview that he wanted to take the story to the farthest point in the timeline, even passed Alien: Resurrection (which takes place in 2379). This presents a problem, however. As in Alien: Resurrection, it's implied Weyland-Yutani has become defunct. In the extended cut (which may or may not be canon), Dr. Geideman mentions that "they went under decades ago. Bought out by Walmart.".

Dan Trachtenberg said they were actually going for an R-Rating. But due to the fact there are no human characters or Earth animals and therefore all the gore is relegated to aliens and androids, the movie received a PG-13 rating.
