I was trying to think of the last time I laughed so hard and so constantly through a film and I couldn't come up with an answer because no movie has done that to me before. I believe it has something for everyone - quick jabs, long running jokes leading to a much anticipated punchline, physical comedy, some subtlety and some in your face. The protagonists are heartfelt and believable and you want so badly for them to succeed at this completely ridiculous sport. Even the antagonists are a joy to have on screen, with their ridiculousness and caricaturization of competitive sport creating a backdrop for the authenticity of the leads. The friendship between the two main characters is a beautiful portrayal which is so well done and natural that you just want to also be their friend. This film feels like a hilarious, warm hug and everyone should watch it.
