9/10. One of the best "greek weird wave" films since dogtooth (lanthimos, 2009) and miss violence (avranas, 2013). Zois in his second more mature feauture, manages to make a powerful cinematic tale about the living and the dead, managing to make this through a convincing script and exceptionally solid direction (powerful leitmotifs, music is crucial in the film's storyline), which does not become rediculous (can be really easy considering the movie's budget. It is mostly saved from the superb performances and flawless script). A greek movie you should not miss which is rare to say. Zois became an important greek (and universal) synchronous filmmaker with this one.

Saw this at an International film festival. It was an upsetting experience but I year later the film seems very interesting and memorable. It is not pleasant and very dark but it takes us somewhere where we will all go. It's also very much a mystery that you will understand by the end. The brief scenes of after death will be haunting but memorable along with a very effective soundtrack. I would suggest to see it, knowing it's not for everyone who expects a conventional drama, this ain't that. Also explicit sex scenes, though not the focus of the film. Great acting and script. This is not for kids.
