The so-called antagonist Iris is beyond unlikable, annoying and stupid. Why anyone would take advice from her is the greatest mystery of this movie. She is a smug know-it-all who treats the people she supposedly loves like props in HER life because it's all about her. The accusations against her fiancé are ludicrous. Apparently, Iris has never heard of photo shop. And why would she believe he would come on to Vanessa who looks old enough to be his grandmother!? My advice to him would be to move on to someone who doesn't treat you like dirt. Why does Lifetime make the protagonists SO obnoxious and unlikable?

Why did the director or screenwriter or somebody shoehorn in multiple gratuitous
scenes where the leads are nearly nude? It was so unnecessary and creepy. Like why did we have to see Iris change her clothes in front of her sister? Why was the guy (who was fit but not that attractive in the face as the movie portrays him to be) have to be shirtless during an argument? Why was Vanessa in a public place holding her boob for the longest time after a supposedly humiliating assault, or at least what she wanted to portray as such? Very odd choices that kind of disrespects it's actors and the intensity of the scene as well as the effectiveness of those moments. But it's not like they put much time, care and attention into the plot or even giving the lead an interesting podcast photo or figuring out how exactly live podcasts are recorded or what a producer does or using a shot that wasn't spinning to record those scenes, so...
