Inside the Duck Hotel pool, there is a life guard with an amusing resemblance to David Hasselhoff.

Several studio staff members can be seen on the train 'Train Fudge' and on a few other occasions.

The statue in the center of the 'Big Shop' portrays an elephant with a castle on its back. This is a reference to the series being created in 'Elephant and Castle' in London.

While parents, for any of the children in the show, are never mentioned, it can be assumed that the Narator is indeed Sarah's parent although this is never addressed. Many characters interact directly with the Narator.
