This review is only based off the first act as this video is unwatchable. Terrible cinematography, equally bad story with no production value makes for a Jordan Bradley special. It's so bad it wants to be good but far too boring to keep interest. The bad guy spreads his arms out must be 50 times to distract from the garbage acting. This is not a film but a long format video for high school film students to learn and break down indie film mistakes 101. Who would green light this? Story made no sense but the scene when the girls get abducted is hilarious. Grandmas acting is the best in the show bahahaha.
This is a challenging and boldly serious story for even the best of filmmakers and especially for a first time filmmaker striking out into a world of such heavy competition. But Francis Juarez doesn't shy away or veer from the seriousness of his co-authored account, and that mature focus serves him and his film and its talented newcomer actors very well indeed, especially the two ladies who do a great job carrying most of the often disturbing narrative. I suspect there is a spiritual awareness behind Juarez's choice in making this film and I sympathize with that. It's not a film that will appeal to everyone, but it did appeal to me.
Crazy Texas is a gritty psychological thriller that grabs you from the first scene and refuses to let go. It's not your typical horror movie-this one gets under your skin. The tension builds masterfully, with just the right balance of eerie silence, raw emotion, and shocking moments that hit hard without relying on cheap jump scares.
The story is smart and unsettling, with layered characters that make you question who's really the villain-and what's really going on. The atmosphere is thick with paranoia and dread, set against a uniquely Texan backdrop that gives the whole film a distinctive, haunting edge.
This isn't just horror-it's psychological warfare, and it leaves you thinking long after the credits roll.
A bold, original debut that proves indie horror is alive and well. Can't wait to see what comes next from this Director Francis Juarez.

Some movies are so bad they become fun. They become cult classics, some getting midnight screenings to rabid fans and organically developing audience participation. Make no mistake whatsoever, this is NOT one of those movies. This is the epitome of amateurism. The dialogue is cringe inducing, as are a majority of the performances. There is a good reason some of the alleged actors in this felony of a film have no other credits on iMDB. The directing is as vanilla and safe as an episode of any home improvement show but is at least competent, as is the editing. Those, however, cannot overcome the mediocrity of the overall production.
This is a really neat film because of the twists and turn. It may seem hard to solve, but if you watch it a few times, it really kicks in. During the second half of the film, it really starts to click and pick up speed and dynamism. It's cool to another great Texas film! The cinematography is exceptional along with the set design. This really does make you think about the depravity of humans and what could actually happen at the extremes of behavior. This one is a nail-biter that pulls you along until the big twists swing through totally catching viewers for surprise. Bravo to the actors, they are believable and fun to watch.

- CuriosidadesThere isn't a town in Texas officially named "Crazy," but there is a notable location associated with the name "Crazy"-Crazy Water in Mineral Wells, Texas. Mineral Wells is famous for its natural mineral springs, and "Crazy Water" refers to the well water from the area that was believed to have healing properties. The name came from local stories about a woman who supposedly drank the mineral water and was "cured" of her mental illness, leading to the branding of the water as "Crazy Water."
