My first problem was the very very English family living in a very very Scottish house. Fair play, I said, they are filiming on location, and a house near Lockerbiemakes sense. I forgave that.

Great performances by the actors! But then it very quickly became a conspiracy theory about a CIA coverup. A very breif internet search showed that the premise was total bollocks. Yes, a warning had been issued. Yes, it had been distributed. Yes, pretty much everyone had it.

It's a shame because instead of blaming the CIA, this show could have actually explored what REALLY went wrong. And blaming the CIA for stuff it didn't do makes it harder to hold the CIA to account for stuff it REALLY did.

This show is very well made. But I assume it's made by the CIA. I mean: who else would want us to believe that the CIA are THAT bad at their jobs? And they have the money and the time to put out such false flags.

Either that or a talented director and crew went out of their way to make a film which is laughably easy to discredit.
