In recent years, many children's films have been made in Russia. Critics often focus on the computer graphics and special effects, which, of course, are important, but let's be honest-they are secondary.

In a fairy tale, the most important things are the plot, a good script, unexpected twists, convincing acting, but above all, the fairy tale should touch the heart. This film turned out to be just that-genuine and touching. It will make you want to cry. Maybe more than once.

The costumes are magnificent. The special effects are fine. They are exactly what they should be. A fairy tale doesn't need more than that.

This is a wonderful film that only critics might nitpick. You won't find a Russian viewer who loves Russian fairy tales and doesn't like this film.
