The Night Has Come is a solid 8/10-a visually striking film that delivers a moody, immersive experience. The cinematography is beautifully crafted, with every scene thoughtfully composed to draw you into its world. The music pairs perfectly, setting a tone that's both haunting and captivating, enhancing the story's emotional pull.
At times, the plot can be a bit confusing, with a few moments that leave you wondering where the story is headed. But overall, it comes together nicely, offering a unique experience that's both intriguing and memorable. Fans of atmospheric storytelling will find a lot to appreciate here.

They mix thriller and paranormal and sci fi which doesnt make sense because they only took a scoop out of it and put it in portions. Earlier in the series we are led to believe there are some paranormal occurrences, this was completely abandoned by the end of the series.
The idea itself is borrowing from japanese anime / game Danganronpa.
Mediocre acting, bad screenwriting, plot twists that arent really... Plot twists.
Some events and characters though are quite enjoyable. Like the bully guy and the main character.
6.5/10
Some major flaws like inconsistent setting (paranormal vs sci fi), bad writing (cases are too simple, and seeing from mafias POV making it has no plot twists. Early on it was revealed who the mafias are. Some mafias are revealed by "oh they mentioned something they shouldn't have known" which gets boring.

The drama is entertaining for sure. The pace is fast, acting is good and has an original concept.
Crazy plot twists and not predictable at all but the last plot twist was too unbelievable. I mean this wasn't a believable drama from the start, a bunch of students get stuck in a youth center and they are forced to start playing a game where they have to kill each other to survive.
Until then everything is good and although there's a few holes in the plot, you can ignore them and enjoy the action and rhythm of trying to figure out who are the bad guys and who will die every night ( be aware there's many very graphic violence and blood in this drama and they are not subtle showing them....)
But then towards the end there's a major change/twist in the plot that it's so unbelievable crazy, I am not sure it works for me. I feel like its the typical kdrama storyline of guilt tripping mixed with revenge koreans love so much and it just frustrates me.
Regardless, I think the ending is very fitting and I don't think we need a sequel for this.
Overall a nice watch for a Friday night with friends.

This Korean drama is in the mould of older Japanese and Korean thrillers. If you liked Oldboy and Battle Royale, you'll probably enjoy this. However, the kill scenes are pretty gory so please be warned.
The pace is great and keeps you on the edge of your seat. There are plot twists that keep in interesting, and if you avoid thinking too much about the plot holes, you might enjoy the show.
The acting was mediocre but they are all relatively young and it's not bad enough to ruin any scenes,
This is another enjoyable Korean thriller for fans on Squid Games and The Glory. I'd recommend it if you enjoyed those shows.

As someone who doesn't watch trailers I like the first time viewing experience that comes with new shows. This starts of pretty good and moves at a good pace for the plot. If you play games then you will be familiar with the concept. So they're a lot of characters but you quickly get an idea of the main cast.
Pros:I liked the idea and you get intrigued with trying to figure out what's happening etc.
Con:After episode 2 I found myself skipping a lot of the dialogue. The sound of whinny, backstabbing and annoying teenagers bubble-wrapped in high school clique drama get tiresome very quickly.
I didn't like the leads they seem pretty dull and emotionless. You can't feel or route for any character as they're all irritating.
The longer you watch the less you become interested. You just want it to end so you can figure out what was happening and who had made the game. K-dramas love school based plots especially in the survival segment. Sadly this doesn't hit the spot for me!
