Wax features a woman who discovers a secret room in her house filled with elegant yet creepy wax figures. But she soon learns that greed can have dire consequences. The storyline isn't particularly unique, even within the horror short genre, which makes some of the events feel a bit predictable. However, the execution is excellent. The acting is solid, and any potential budget constraints don't really show. That said, I do wish the wax figures looked a bit more waxy-it would have been an easy touch that could've added an extra layer of creepiness. Other than that, it was an entertaining piece of work.
