Two good friends from gardening camp of childhood. One, after coming up, in bad relation with his mother, has as refuge the house of his friend.

A party seems perfect event for this shy friend to declare his love for the girl who seems like her. But, in the significant moment, his reaction is embarrassing to full honest and when he becomes a target of manhood of a mate, the help , energetic - precise comes from unexpected direction.

Nice , realistic and touching ( sure, the hat with flower has its merit in this ).

THE EXCESSIVE FEELING IN MEASURED TIMES.

I stumbled upon this short by mere chance (its director has this film available on YouTube) without knowing whether to watch it or simply forget it but... what a surprise I was! It is rare to see a US short film so well prepared, treated and done. As if it were a personal project of which, they wanted to take care of all the details (or so it seems) to avoid falling into the clichés and repetitive cycles that we are already tired of; the independent American scene. Bravo for that!

Taking a cliché so used in these times of first loves is not something that surprises me, since there are a thousand and one films that touch on that, but the way it does it: simple, sensitive but visibly different from the rest. It is as if it came out of the mold but maintaining a certain shape.

Refreshing proposal, which makes us hope that all is not lost for US cinema. There are some shorts like this one, that do not need huge budgets or gigantic productions or bombastic actors to deliver a pleasant, fresh and incredibly credible message, in times where boring and politically correct is a standard of daily life on the world cinema scene.

The title of this review is taken from the song "Cómo Sería" by Ray De La Paz.

They made everything go step by step. There is no race here; even with just a few minutes to show us everything, the story grows like a flower - and they try to show that. It's still a soft story, no matter the fear in the air because of the discoveries and the intense meaning of love. I wasn't able to connect with the other characters - they sound artificial or make you feel uncomfortable. Overall, it's okay to watch; a visual expression of what it means to grow flowers (of love). It leaves you thinking about how love sometimes needs space to bloom-and how not all hearts are meant to grow side by side.
