Some unexpected twists and turns,good acting by Leon Russow.

It's very slow, hardly any action. Good story though, and I just felt for the lead actor, so kept with it. Otherwise, I would have struggled, hence the 5/10.

Smoking, coughing, looking out the window. I can do that stuff myself. This is very very bad.

Where to begin?!? The Midnighters immediately grabs you from the first sounds of the opening credits against a black screen and doesn't let go until the totally shocker twist of an ending! Julian Fort is a first time feature filmmaker, but you wouldn't know it from the impressive job he did directing veteran actors. The performances are stellar, it's cool to see old character actor Leon Russom get his moment in the limelight as a wounded and sensitive but still badass old school bank robber try to navigate the modern world. The writing is stellar and moves the story along at a quick pace. The cinematography is gorgeous, the camera work is not showy and is a quiet observer rather than the ever popular (and annoying) over the top zooms, pans and edits that are done as a cheap trick and nothing more. If you like bank heist movies, take a chance on this little ambitious film. Their budget may have been tiny, but their heart is huge and it shows in the final product. I'm super impressed. Julian Fort has a future ahead of him that shows a lot of promise and I look forward to seeing more from this writer/director!!!

I saw this movie a couple of years ago on it's big screen debut here at the Phoenix Film Festival. Normally I don't expect much from low/micro budget films at festivals but this one blew me away! The screenplay was outstanding and the acting was spot on. Leon Russom was a great choice to play his character. Julian Fort couldn't have done a better job in directing this wonderfully made film. My hat's off to the cast and crew. Well done!

An impressive little film with a big heart. I highly recommend giving this entertaining and at moments quite poinient film a chance. Very impressive for a first time director with such a small budget.

This movie's budget was $80,000. Not $1,000,000. SAG micro-budget indie. Bit of a miracle.

Was a good movie but the ending was messed up. Didnt explain what really happened at end you had to figure it
