The truth will hurt.

Nothing but true facts in this documentary and it hurts other clubs & fans. All the stops the "Big 6" tried to pull to stop Newcastle spending money while those same clubs spent hundreds of millions. Other fans of other clubs know this but there are a minority who are basically jealous. I am a Newcastle fan and I have always been proud to be. Heard nobody saying a word when Ashley was rinsing us but as soon as billions come Newcastle's way it is panic stations for the PL. Loved this Documentary with all the facts. If this was another club like Man City, I would watch it and give an honest review and not a bad one just because it wasn't the team I support.

captures the essence of the iconic football club

This great series brilliantly captures the essence of the iconic football club. It not only delves into the thrilling matches and on-field triumphs but also provides a captivating glimpse into the rich history and passionate fan culture of Newcastle United. The storytelling is both riveting and heartwarming, making it a must-watch for football enthusiasts and even those less familiar with the sport. The series successfully combines drama, emotion, and the sheer excitement of football, making it a delightful experience for viewers of all backgrounds. I binge watched all the episodes without a break!

Great!

A very interesting and insightful documentary into the day to day running of a professional football club. People will say what they will about the Saudi ownership but this is clearly not sports-washing. These people don't know the true meaning off the word. I found it quite pathetic how certain clubs tried to intervene with things to try and prevent Newcastle from competing, such as the sponsorship thing, when clearly other clubs such as Manchester City are sponsored by a company from their owners country. I like this clubs owners. Very professional and appear to have a great working relationship with the clubs staff. They have the best interests of Newcastle United at heart and that's great to see. Other clubs owners should take note (cough cough Man Utd, Everton).

More acting in this than Goal

Firstly while not a Newcastle United fan I was looking forward to this series, however I was left disappointed.

Total PR project, cameras on the owners during games, players going back to their communities. Only Eddie Howe come across as genuine and some of the fans, thankfully there was no Jason Tindall

The business side was interesting but there was too much of the board and not enough of players if you compare to All or Nothing.

We all know it's Saudi state owned so the 4 episodes tried to dispel this and brush under the carpet the human rights violations, the theme seemed FFP is stopping them doing what they want and it's all for the love of the fans, as I said total PR BS.

Shame

I was looking forward to seeing which team would be highlighted for the 2022-23 season for this documentary format. Sadly this was disappointing choice. Why give Newcastle United this platform? This is Saudi "sportswashing" plain and simple. There are so many other teams to choose from. As mentioned, this is a PR campaign to try and legitimatize Saudi investment in a Premier League team. Most of the documentary covers the investment group trying to earn money instead of on the field action. I am curious of the money involved to get this produced. Now I feel in some way I am complicit for having watched this show.

A big PR campaign

I love sport documentaries but this is as staged as it can be. Every bit is very carefully managed and not natural at all. Just a big PR campaign by the Saudi owners. It doesn't show any defeats, almost like they didn't happen. But at the same time tries to crate tension, it's really poor tv, Was this directed and produced by the owners? I know the new owners need to create a more positive outlook on the club externally but at least try and be genuine. The fans are happy as they've got money so they've soon forgotten about their morals. They've quickly moved ok from the protests when they we're struggling at the bottom.

Avoid

Woooooow crows Amanda Staveley as she looks at an old Newcastle shirt. Other footballing docs focus on staff at the club and fans, here we focus largely on Amanda and her pals and how much they just love Newcastle United. It's a real rollercoaster of a season the drama never stops - will the richest club in world football somehow muster enough funds to sign Anthony Gordon? Will the skilled negotiators manage to get a new kit sponsorship deal done? Will the Adidas shirt deal get signed? Will Newcastle miraculously get in the Champions league? So many thrilling storylines all coming to a climax as the season ends.

Utter garbage.
