Serbian Dancing Lady

This film draws on the urban legend of the "Serbian Lady"-a woman who dances erratically in public, sometimes wielding a knife and threatening passersby. In this version, we follow a young woman who encounters her late at night. The lead actress delivers a strong performance, with facial expressions that feel spot on. For some reason, the film gave me genuine A Nightmare on Elm Street vibes-maybe it was the way the young woman was running, or the eerie environment. I actually appreciated that familiarity; Elm Street is a nostalgic franchise for me, and it made this short film easier to connect with.

A young woman on street, in night. Strange song and a dancing lady in red. The not surprising impulse of girl to photo the woman. But her answer is far to be polite ( a knife and the menacing run for kill the intruder ). Obvious, no escape in so unrealistic - to be more than creepy - story.

The impression of be a very modest version of A Serbian film and the question about nature of song, more Greek than Serbian for my ears. The identity of lady, more Spanish than Serbian becomes a too complicated problem for a two minutes film. But it works well for atmosfere, the only real significant aspect.
