No pun intended - we sometimes forget that before Saw, there was something called Cube. And I am certain there is something before that. Maybe not as ... well bloody and mean and all that, but the sense of survival is always something that connects movies of that sort. Mostly it does make sense to work together, rather than throwing rocks in each other way ... but it would be boring if everything was ... well easy.

Of course nothing is easy and people do mostly look out for themselves ... maybe there is a bit of character development missing ... but do you really care? I really doubt it to be honest, but feel free to disagree. Good effects and make up, make this a fine watch to say the least.

Few people in a dark space, fighting to survive . The end of one of challenges and new room dominated bz a monster , devil-like . And the strategies to remain alive using tricks against the others, being victim of own strategy, killing the other because one can enter in the new room and he is enough in bad state.

And, sure, a tensioned final, crafted by suggestion, reminding the Minotaur greed and being , against opened final , reduced at few traits, admirable crafted short film.

A simple storz, rich references, woman power and interesting monster aspect.

Enough for more than decent short horror.
