A dark mass action thriller by A. R. M elevated with Anirudh's strong background scores.

The story puts through the life of a guy with delusional disorder gets involved in an NIA undercover mission and to what extreme he goes for his kins is unfolded through the story.

A. R. Murugadoss has pulled off a festive mass masala treat for theatre experience with solid action sequences and Anirudh's epic BGM's. A. R. M has blended romance, humour, emotions, action, revenge, betrayal in the right wavelength for giving an enthralling experience for the audience. The filmmaker has placed ample high moments for all the actors in the story.

Starting delivery by Sivakarthikeyan of the character moving through subtle variations in performance from cracking humour in ease and exceptional fight sequences. Insane performance by Shabeer Kallarackal who just stole the show with his devilish attitude. Biju Menon has given a composed and subtle performance demanded by the character. Rukmini Vasanth has given a matured performance with her charm and attitude. Vidyut Jamwal & Vikranth also made good delivery of their characters.

Good work by DOP Sudeep Elamon capturing the movie through a dark template chopped into a mass action thriller by the ace editor Sreekar Prasad. Hats off to Anirudh for the melodious romance tracks and groovy BGM's. Kudos to Action Choreographer, Colorist and Sound designer for their impressive contribution.

A great theatre experience worth every penny for this festive season.

This film marks ARM's comeback to Kollywood and he's back with a bang. This movie has Sivakarthikeyan who's the usual family entertainer, but this film gives him a very different type of character which explores various different emotions and this film really showed how good he is at his job. Anirudh music, it's become a necessity in big hero films and he's yet again proven that's he's the current gen king! Amazing background score and good songs for the emotions that need to be conveyed. The heroine's role had good depth and was a core character in the film, and Rukmini really did a great job with her character. The villains, mainly Vidyut Jamnwal had a almost equal weightage to the hero, pretty much 40:60, but at the end of the day the hero needs his moments and the antagonist's mass went from a BLAST to a dying flame towards the end. The movie was pretty much perfect if not for certain lags and a very very normal, not bad but normal climax. Great cinematography, stunt choreography and locations make this film a must watch. Overall a great love action drama from ARM once again.

SK 21 is a decent commercial action entertainer that works mainly because of its solid action blocks and Anirudh's powerful background score. The fight sequences are well-choreographed with minimal VFX, giving them a raw and realistic feel. Sivakarthikeyan handles the action convincingly, and his chemistry with Rukmini Vasanth adds some freshness. The heroine isn't wasted either, as her role actually contributes to the story.

The first half moves at a moderate pace with some predictable love track portions, while the second half picks up with stronger action and hero-villain moments, especially against Vidyut Jamwal. Murugadoss doesn't deliver a groundbreaking comeback, but he plays it safe and certainly does better than his recent outings.

On the downside, the screenplay feels formulaic with familiar beats, and the songs are average compared to the rousing BGM. Still, with its action, mass moments, and theatre-friendly presentation, the film delivers a passable experience for fans of commercial masala cinema.

Verdict: Not a grand comeback, but a good step forward for Murugadoss and SK. Worth a watch in theatres if you enjoy action-packed entertainers.

Horrible and upset 👎 MURUGADOSS motivating, instigating goons, politicians and young guys on """"wrong path"""". NIA shown as jokers ....too much & unbearable plus.....tooo many bullets ...Zero logic..... expected much strong story and screenplay. Camera too many close shots and it's not comfortable to see all together. Anirudh music overall ok, but not a single song we could recall post exiting theater. Too much hype and no scenes filmed, same with dialogues.

Mind-Blowing Action!*

I just watched Madharasi and I'm still reeling from the non-stop action! The stunts were insane, the plot was gripping, and the actors nailed their roles. The special effects were top-notch, making the action sequences feel super realistic.

The movie's pacing was perfect, with just the right amount of suspense and humor. The villain was terrifying, and the hero's determination was inspiring.

Overall, madharasi is a must-watch for action fans! 5/5 stars from me!
